Enjoy the beautiful warm weather and gentle ocean breezes from the deck of this third floor, newly remodeled, well maintained, beautifully decorated 2 bedroom villa at Fiddler's Cove. Note: There are no elevators in the building. The condo is accessible by staircases which are located on two sides of the building. Each bedroom has its own private bath. The master bedroom features a queen-size bed whereas the second bedroom has two twin beds and a TV. The remainder of the condo consists of a full kitchen, dining room, living room with queen-size sleeper sofa, and a deck that adjoins the living room.

One of the most beautiful beaches (Follyfield Beach) is within an easy five minute walk of the villa. A bike path, that connects with trails covering over half the island goes right by the entrance to Fiddler's Cove. Bikes are available for rent from many places on the island.

Within the Fiddler's Cove complex itself, there are two pools (one with lap lanes), an outdoor hot tub, and 10 tennis courts. There is also an on-site Clubhouse with free Wi-Fi, table tennis, bean bag toss game & two racquetball courts.

The larger pool is heated during March, April and October and is cooled during the summer months of June and July for the guest's comfort.

Use of the tennis courts and racquetball courts is free!!!

Nearby to the villa you can sign up for water sports or boat tours, fish, golf, shop, dine at fine restaurants, or just tour the island itself to enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife. You may even see a dolphin or two swimming close to shore. There are boat tours available to more easily locate the dolphin.

Short day tours to the mainland to historic sites such as Savannah, Georgia are another alternative activity. There is something available for everyone to enjoy without being in an over-commercialized, over-crowded setting such as you may find at some of the other East Coast beaches.

Rental weeks during the peak summer months go from Saturday (check-in) to Saturday (check-out). There is a one week minimum stay requirement. Time periods that cross between two weeks may not be accepted if the duration of the rental is less than two weeks.

Great place for long-term stay

We stayed in this condo from February - April, and it was lovely! The kitchen had what we needed, and there was plenty of space for the two of us to have it feel like “home” for that time. The owner was very responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing Vaca

Beach and local areas are clean and convenient to navigate. Although we are used to staying right a the ocean, the walk to the beach was easy and pleasant. HHI beaches are well worth it! Less crowded and prettier than other more touristy beaches in SC. Condo had everything my family needed for a relaxing stay.

Nice Place for a Week at the Beach

The condo was nice and efficient for our family of 5. The property was clean and had the necessary amenities for a weeks stay. It did need some minor repairs such as lights and toilet but nothing that would prevent us from staying again. Terry, the owner, called to check in the day after we arrived which was nice. Would definitely recommend staying on this property.

Perfect for relaxation

A grand time for relaxation at the end of my road trip. The apartment was very well equipped and appointed, very clean and had clear instructions. The beach at five minutes walk was perfect for observing the sun rise and for jogging early in the morning. Easy drive to main HH supermarkets and restaurants. Altogether a lovely package that suited us perfectly.

Lovely, beachy condo in Fiddlers Cove

We enjoyed our stay very much in this gorgeous, beachy condo. Bed was comfy. It was nice to have essentials like dish soap, lotion, shampoo, TP, plenty of pots, pans, dishes, etc. available. I loved the beachy décor. Was nice of owners to provide an info binder with instructions for TV and could read what other guests wrote about what they enjoyed during their stay and suggestions of good places to eat. Terry always got back quickly with any questions. :)

A nice condo and place to stay.

We enjoyed the condo and Folly Field area. The condo was clean and comfortable. The third floor was nice but the stairs a little difficult with a bad knee but managable. We could hear the people below us arguing but security took care of it as someone complained. Overall we enjoyed it all. We saw alligators at Jarvis Park and a sea turtle on the beach our last morning. Took a ferry to Daufuski Island one day and toured Savannah Ga. We enjoyed both pools and hot tub. We found sanddollars on the beach and explored the Harbor and other beaches. A great vacation week and perfect weather! Thank you Terry for the comforts of your condo and area! We made many memories!

Quick walk to the beach

This was our 3rd stay at this condo property and the 3rd unit that we stayed at. The facilities at or near the property are great. About a 8 minute walk to the beach, 2 pools and a lot of tennis courts. This specific condo was near the front of the complex which we really liked. It is a 3rd floor without an elevator. No problem for us, but it might not be for everyone. The condo was well stocked with towels, linens, and starter soap and paper products as well as hair dryers in each bathroom. The hot water was quick and plentiful. The condo is very nicely decorated with a beach / nautical theme. Terry's communication was good prior to the stay with a great pre-arrival packet and he was responsive to a few things that I wanted to make him aware of. I did have to do to pots and pans upon arrival after a 12 hour drive in order to have items to use to make breakfast. Based on other condos in SC, FL or MS where we stay on the beach, this unit could use some more kitchen supplies / some needed replaced. The condo was clean, but the stove top, oven and oven drawer could use some cleaning.

Dirty & worn out

Our check in was good. The only thing that was good. The TV system was wiring nightmare. He had a DVD player that was broke. The phone number listed for Spectrum if TV problems was the wrong number that he kept printed on sheet. The girl that answered was tired of receiving calls. The vertical blinds on balcony had some missing Even though 3rd level unit, the lock was busted. The furniture smelled; so, we only sat when necessary. Finally, put sheets over to sit down. Both showers have moldall over the cheap shower curtains. The master shower & sink had issues. The water wouldn't drain properly. I used to own a cleaning company. This was surface cleaning. The magazines & information under the coffee table were thrown in disarray. They were from 2010. The place clearly needs TLC. The owner is out of state and pretends to care; but, he has no person representing him. The place was such a disappointment and not representative of what was stated. My sister has some pictures if you need them. I would not stay there for free.

Feel like a local

Having a quiet, convenient home base for a month so close to the beach made my relocating to HH a breeze and stress-free. I mostly enjoyed the tree-top deck and the birds in the morning. Terry (owner) was very helpful and prompt with all our communication.

Great last minute find!.

I booked this property last minute. The property owner provided excellent information/documentation about the check-in process, parking, WIFI, etc The beach is very close. It is a short (about 8 minutes) and very easy walk. The only negatives were that there isn’t a lot of space in the kitchen for storage and cooking should you want to eat in. And, this property is located on the third floor and there isn’t an elevator.

Great place to stay!

We loved our stay. The condo is very nice, all we needed was there for us. The beach is right down the road with a nice little stop on the way to see the turtles! We would definitely stay here again! The resort is very clean and the pools are great. The security officer's were very friendly and helpful if we ever had a goofy question for them. We recommend this place for a good vacation.

Great Location

Condo was fully stocked with kitchen needs and enough bed linens and bathroom towels. Disappointed with housekeeping. Floor was unswept (dustballs, hair) dirty pans and coffee pot. Some replacements are needed: sliding door screen and furnace filter (and cleaning). Owner was very prompt in taking care of broken washer and questions. We may have been the first guests in awhile due to water smelling like rotten eggs the first two days of our stay. As time went on, we felt more at ease.

Reasonable Price

Overall I was pleased with the condo. The condo was just the right size for the three of us. The beach was just a short walk from the community. The pool areas were very nice and clean. The security guards were always very helpful. However, there was a bug situation in the kitchen area. A pest control specialist was on-site our second day in the condo, so I guess the previous visitors must have alerted Terry. Within the property description there was an indication that there was an agreement between Fiddler's Cove and a nearby fitness center (no charge). My family is into fitness and this was a major draw for my interest. When I approached the guard station and requested information about the fitness center, it was indicated that the fitness center had been closed for 2 years. Regardless, there was a fitness center 3 miles away which we were able to join at a minimal cost. The free fitness offer should be removed.

We had a wonderful time. The beach was fantastic, with a short walk from the condo. It was amazing.

The condo was nice and clean. With very comfortable beds. Like that the floors were wood instead of tile. When tile gets wet it is slick, and these didn’t get slick. The condo was very comfortably furnished. Washer and dryer were a nice addition. It was nice to have wine openers available, so that we could have a glass of wine to wind down with at night. The guards at the front gate were always there to let us in and we’re very friendly. The only problem I had was that it was on the 3rd floor, and I have a bad hip, so that was a little inconvenient, but maybe the exercise was good for me. Lots of great restaurants and shopping nearby at Harbor Town. Went on a dolphin cruise and a fishing trip. The Crazy Crab at Harbour Town is a must eat at restaurant. If you plan on taking much to the beach, you might want to bring a collapsible wagon to carry things to the beach. Also a ice chest since there is not anything available on the beach to buy drinks or concessions from.

Awesome Unit!

First off I'd like to say the best part of my first VRBO experience was dealing with the owner. He was responsive, informative and 100% accurate in description, location and condition of unit. With that said, the unit is in fantastic shape, everything works as it should, furnishings are recent updated and a nice beach theme. Linens towels and cleaning service before our stay was fantastic, and that was ULTRA important to me as my wifes definition of clean and mine are somewhat different as is sometimes the case. She smiled widely when we entered the unit and I was assured of a good start to a seven day lockdown with her (lol) . Unit is close to the beach a legitimate 5 minute walk or 2 minute bike through nice beachfront neighborhood. Walking over at 9pm was not threatening in the least. Hilton Head itself is a beautiful area and we had always stayed at the 4 star resorts, but we were planning on sharing with friends who unfortunately couldn't make it so we went this route. Certainly glad we did. We will surely rent this unit again if it's available! Great value, location and comfortable and secure rental.
