Tucci House - Cozy Historic Home - Sleeps 10

This home, built in 1913, is situated in a historic Italian neighborhood formerly known as Tucci Camp. Completely renovated with old barn beams and posts and wood finishes. The cozy 1200 sq. ft. house sleeps ten in two bedrooms and a sleeping loft. There is one bathroom. Tucci House is walking distance (1/2 mile) to restaurants and shops.
The outdoor activities in the area are endless - hiking, fishing, golfing, skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking - you name it - all within a few miles. (Nine miles to Mt. Shasta Ski Park.) The McCloud Falls is a don’t-miss scenic beauty second only to majestic Mt. Shasta.

Our charming little town hosts several local events each year too. The best attended being the Mushroom Festival, Lumberjack Fiesta, Apple Harvest Festival, and flea market. There is always something fun going on in town.

Great house, great stay

House was just as advertised, very clean and at a very convenient location in town. Then interior design is a great use of space, we were all very comfortable during our stay. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed for a ski weekend and the house was perfect. We only had three people so the one bathroom wasn’t a big deal. It was completely stocked and we enjoyed the decor in there. The house was super clean, very convenient and warm. It is full of games and books and things to do if you stay back at the house. The communication was perfect and easy to follow. McCloud is a great place to visit and we will be back.

The Tucci House was the best choice for our first time in the area. We came to see our dear friend Geeia and experience the Lumberjack Fiesta. The house is cute, cozy and provides a mix of sleeping options. Would rent again.

Wonderful Get Away!

We had an amazing stay! The house is so cozy (even with the snow outside) and had all the amenities! We walked to downtown for dinner and shopping. The neighborhood was so quiet and charming! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful stay!

We just loved this property! It was immaculate, beautifully decorated in the cutest mountain theme. You can tell it is well cared for. It was so cozy and perfect for our group of 7. We loved siting on the front porch and the kids loved the yard. Owners were super responsive and accommodating. Would love to come back in the Winter and ski at Shasta. Highly recommend!!

Our family really enjoyed our stay in McCloud. The home was clean, well maintained, and centrally located for all the hiking we did in the area. The only reason for four stars was the microwave broke the first evening of our stay.

Great family weekend

There were 10 of us: my wife and I with our two sons, their wives, and our four grandbabies. The house was clean, had everything we needed, was in a great location, had plenty of space and beds.

Tucci Tango

Nice location for the Burning Tango Festival. Place was comfortable and quiet. We were able to be close enough to the town for all the dance activities, and have a nice place to rest for the following day. Everything worked well, and the owners were very responsive to any questions or requests we had. Wonderful time!!!!

Tucci house is terrific

We had the best time staying at the Tucci house. Booked it after a recommendation from friends who’ve stayed in the past, and they were right, the Tucci house is terrific. Clean, well maintained and beautifully decorated. The hosts thought of everything, plenty of extra blankets, towels, and toiletries. Comfy beds and the kids loved the movie selection and the games cupboard! Such a fun house with lots of interesting bits of local history. The hosts were very friendly and responsive!

Great Classic home in McCloud.

Although my wife and I were the only ones staying, this place is set up for a family with kids. Lots of kids. Fun, wonderfully decorated original building with everything you need for an extended stay. The owners are responsive and actually live in the area. We could walk into town from the house as it is only 8 or 9 minutes from Main Street. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time staying here for a family snow trip. There was so much snow we were able to sled right in the yard. It’s very close to downtown McCloud, and a short drive to Mt. Shasta ski park, sledding hills, and the towns of Mt. Shasta and Dunsmuir. The pictures actually make it look smaller than it is. The kids loved all the movies and games. My only disappointment was that there wasn’t a regular coffee maker, just a keurig and a percolator.

What a wonderful property this was! The power went out all day on Saturday and the hosts offered us a free night stay! While we had to be at work and school the following week, these are very thoughtful and honest hosts. Will definitely stay there again!

Great getaway

We had an excellent time at McCloud. House is clean with everything we needed for our 3days stay. Plenty of beds, towels. Kitchen well stocked with pots, ustensiles etc. to ease cooking and entertain. I highly recommend it for a relaxing time between hiking to waterfalls and trails. Thank you Missy! Regards Daniel

Cosy place

Another amazing stay very comfortable! This was our second stay at the Tucci house we really enjoyed it hoping to stay there again this summer. It was nice to be home for a few days from away from the cities

We were raised in Mt. Shasta and our family roots run deep in Siskiyou County. We moved out of the area for our careers and purchased Tucci House as a family vacation home. Having a vacation home here encouraged us to retire back where we grew up. We now live in McCloud full time, but have kept Tucci House to host family, friends, and now travelers. We love it here and hope you will too.
