Beautiful, roomy, sunny 2BR, 2 BA old style Florida beach house and only 200 yards to beautiful Lido Beach. Short, easy walk to all the shops and dining at St. Armand's Circle. Relax on the front porch or in the courtyard out back. 2 bikes provided, ride to Lido Key Park or St. Armand's Circle in less than 5 minutes. Everything you need for the beach is included, just pack your suitcase and enjoy the sunsets. Take the free Bay Runner Trolley from the beach to downtown Sarasota and have your groceries delivered from Publix and you will have no need for a rental car!
Note: Lido Key does not allow dogs on the beach. There is a small beach on Bird Key nearby that is dog friendly.

Location, Location, Location

We had a great time in Sarasota; we met my wife's brother and his wife. We loved the location of the property; you could walk almost everywhere you needed to go. It was the most equipped VRBO property we have experienced. The property was excellent and well decorated with art. The host was awesome and very accommodating. We will definitely return; highly recommend.

Charming Beach Cottage

We loved our stay at the Blue Ceiling! The location is ideal, a block to the beautiful Lido beach, and an easy 10 minute walk to wonderful shops and restaurants in St. Armand’s Circle. Will definitely be back!

We live in rural Indiana, but enjoy spending time in Lido Key, Gatlinburg and Nashville. After a lifetime of social work, we are looking forward to some down time. For now, our grand kids are keeping us busy and young at heart.

Why they chose this property

This area has been a part of our lives since the 70s. We have always dreamed of owning a beach house with Old Florida charm and this was the perfect choice. We hope you enjoy the home and area as much as we do.
