Anna Maria Island: Rare Historic Cottage Beachfront (Duplex) - perfecto para 2-4

Bienvenido a nuestra cabaña! Si está buscando un lugar sencillo, tranquilo y sin estrés para disfrutar de la playa, este es el lugar. No es un condominio elegante, no hay pasillos largos, estacionamiento distante, ascensores o multitudes, y no hay calles que cruzar para llegar a la playa. La cabaña es un dúplex, y esta lista es para el lado más grande. VRBO # 327896 te mostrará el lado más pequeño. Los dos lados comparten un porche proyectado frente a la playa.

La cabaña fue construida en 1912 más o menos, como el hogar de un cuidador para una casa más grande que ahora se ha ido. Se ha mantenido y actualizado cuidadosamente, pero ha conservado el encanto de una época pasada.

Las paredes interiores son de pino corazón, al igual que los pisos, restaurados a mano. Los muebles se han elegido para la comodidad: un sillón reclinable de ratán y un sofá cama a juego en la sala de estar, una mesa de comedor con hojas (en caso de que desee tener un invitado o dos para cenar) y una cama king size en el dormitorio.

La cabaña está sombreada por antiguos pinos australianos y tiene un cómodo porche con mosquitero compartido para una vista en primera fila de las puestas de sol y las estrellas. ¡Con las ventanas abiertas por la noche, puedes escuchar el surf!

Salga directamente por la puerta del porche y baje a la playa, sin calles que cruzar. O siéntese en el patio y disfrute de su café y periódico, o cócteles. Nuestros huéspedes nos dicen que la mejor parte del área del patio, (además de la vista) es su tamaño: mucho espacio para extenderse.

Estamos ubicados a una cuadra del Café on the Beach, conveniente para desayunos de panqueques, almuerzos rápidos y cenas relajantes. El parque infantil frente a la playa está a una cuadra y media de distancia. Tome el tranvía gratuito y vea el resto de la isla.

Excellent location with a fantastic host! My son and his friend and I had a wonderful stay at Alice’s bungalow. It’s not big or fancy but very practical and lots of personal touches - all the pots and pans and plates etc, comfortable bed, good hot shower, plenty of bath and beach towels, beach equipment and the sunsets! It’s also about a 3 minute walk to the public beach area that has a cafe and a huge parking lot and other amenities. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Don’t forget your own olive oil, salt and coffee if you plan to cook and make your own coffee.

Steps from the beach

The property is right on the beach on Anna Marie Island. The bed was comfortable and the sunsets were beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Gem on the Beach

Hi! Our family has owned this property since 1971. My grandparents built it as their retirement home, and now it belongs to us. My mom, Gladys, is on the left in this photo, and that's me, Alice, on the right. Mom passed away in 2014, but her spirit of hospitality continues. I live up in Tampa, and visit during the week with my husband and family.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Our family chose to purchase the Cottage because there was no way we could resist! The property is huge, and has the most magnificent view of the beach, especially at sunset, and of course, we loved the neighbors (my grandparents). We live in Tampa, but visit the Island every weekend, and it is a quick trip, about an hour. The Island has an unspoiled small-town charm--like Mayberry but with sand and sun! No matter how short your stay on the Island, it will refresh your spirit.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Our cottage offers simple peace and quiet, with sunny or shady spots on the patios facing the beach. The patios are nestled in a native Florida meadow, complete with blanket flowers, railroad vine, and sea oats-- it's a trip to the past, when life was much simpler. When families visit, the patio area is a favorite of the older crowd, since it offers a mix of sun and shade, with a magnificent view of the beach.

The screened porch is a great place for morning coffee and the newspaper, afternoon snacks, or evening refreshments.
