The house was perfect for our family of 4, just enough space for our young boys to play. The house was well stocked and the extra outlets in each room were very welcome. We will definitely be staying here again.

The neighborhood is very dark at night, because there is no light in the street so it was almost impossible to find the house, television did not work, the beds are very hard so not confy at all! But the customer service was very friendly...

Thank you so much for your feedback! We have since troubleshooted the television and we always try to leave an outside light on prior to a guest arrival to try to help illuminate the address. Hopefully this helps future guests!
Property is clean but it gets really cold in the rooms downstairs. We got there at around 8pm to check in and it was really dark, we couldn't find the property right away, maybe have the entrance light on next time. Also it was hard to contact them on a weekend using my cellphone, i had to use the landline to reach them. Check out is very strict at 10am, the cleaners got there at exactly 10 while we were loading.

Close to highway, pretty loud
The property was clean and well equipped, however it was right next to the highway which wasn’t really clear from the VRBO profile.
Pretty bad experience with Hollihouse. After we had left, an additional $1000.00 was taken from my credit card on file without contacting me prior to the transfer, and I was informed that we would have had dogs in the apartment which would have required extra cleaning. We don’t even own a dog and later on it came out that all of this was a mistake by Hollihouse. Meanwhile it required several calls and e-mails to reverse the wrongly charged extra fee back to my account. Super bad experience, I’ll definitely won’t book with them again.

Yes, we blew it for you on the dog charge and we are awfully sorry for the inconvenience but we did absolutely refund the charge as you noted in the review. Our cleaners reported hearing dogs in the property which is not a dog friendly property. This would be a serious breach of the rental agreement and we do move quickly to protect our owner's interest. After further investigation, we determined that it was an error on our part. I think we did a pretty good job of keeping you informed throughout the process. All guests should know that if they break the rules we will charge your card in order to put the property back together.
As for the highway, yes this condo development is close to highway 80 as it is shown on the map. When you are outside the property you will hear some highway noise. However, the property inside is quiet. We do have other properties that are more secluded but the nice thing about this property is that you can walk downtown easily. We've had many guests who were very happy staying here. - Nick

Too Many Dissapointments
We were excited to stay for my son's wedding. When we got there, the first dissapointment was the parking. The garage is so small I was afraid I would take off one of the side mirrors when I tried to pull in. We ended up parking in guest parking. There is no light in the garage either. Beware the stairs! They are a bummer. Both bathrooms are downstairs, so if you are watching a movie or having dinner, you constantly have to deal with the stairs. Then, there are the signs posted EVERYWHERE! Signs telling you every move to make, what to do, what not to do. It does not feel welcoming. Most of the blinds were broken. It was difficult to regulate the temperature. Too warm upstairs, freezing downstairs! A few space heaters would have been nice. The decor is hideous. The complex is right next to I80, so constant road noise. And it is 1.7 miles to town, not in town. And the beds are too firm. All this added up to a big dissapointment for us.
We enjoyed our stay at this condo. As soon as we walked in, it had a welcoming feeling and felt very cozy. There were a few things that we want to be hopefully corrected. First there wasn’t enough lighting in the guest bathroom, the bedrooms took awhile to heat up, (top floor heats up quicker and needs to be hot for the bottom floor to heat up quickly), kitchen faucet can change to scalding hot in a manner of seconds and lastly, some of the dishes were dirty which appeared to have been from the dishwasher. Overall we truly enjoyed staying at this condo. It fulfilled our goal which was to relax, rest and bond with the family. Thank you for the wonderful stay! We wanted to rate this as 4.5 stars but there isn’t an option.
Great location in downtown historic Truckee - easy drive to Northstar. Comfortable with 2 bdrm downstairs - king and queen bed as well as sofa bed upstairs.
Although the property is next to the freeway, the sound proofing is excellent and you never hear the traffic at all. The kitchen is well equipped, but the appliances could use a refresh. The beds are excellent.
The property was well kept, clean, and qell supplied. We didn't realize that there was no air conditioning, which made it a little warm some nights, but in general, this was a wonderful place to stay!
Everything was perfect. I would suggest giving the guests 2 keys. I was there with my sister. We both have sons in Truckee. Often we were going in different directions. We finally managed to lock our selves out. I do have to say the company helped us very quickly and we are so grateful for that. In all our trip was wonderful. Condo was welcoming, well supplied, clean and generally wonderful. Thank you.
Overall clean, tidy and comfortable. A generous open-concept living area, kitchen stepping out to a nice little deck with treetop views. Beds and bedding were favorable and we enjoyed the short walk to downtown Truckee.
Great property in a great location right at DT Truckee! A bit tricky to get the tv working but figured it out. Easy to communicate with owner. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Clean, amenity filled, split level with many thoughtful touches
This townhouse looks exactly as you see in the pictures. No surprises, other than good ones. The amenities, are wonderful as you will find the things you need to begin living without needing to go purchase a lot of items. Wifi is strong and fast. It is well stocked in terms of consumable items, towels, and kitchen tools.
Furnishings are very nice. Beds are memory foam, which is not our preference, but for some that is perfect. Access to the Truckee, Tahoe, Reno area is excellent.
Thanks for providing us with a great place to stay.

Well stocked kitchen, convenient location, clean and nice.
We visited for A high school graduation and were very pleased with the community and location near the town. Homeowners seem to take pride in the home. Kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you.

New, modern, comfy
Condo is modern and comfy. We arrived late at night to a warm condo. fireplace was on. staff left a basket of goodies, and a bottle of wine, nice touch.
rooms are clean. everything worked. checkout was zero hassle. kitchen well stocked with essentials and then some, even a waffle maker. walking to downtown truckee not really likely in winter. road is steep and dark and likely icy.
