The place was absolutely perfect with beautiful views of Rockport harbor and the ocean beyond. It was fun to be on Bearskin Neck with private reserved parking a short walk away. The living room, porches on all sides, kitchen, bedroom -- everything about the place was wonderful. And Eyvie, the host, was delightful!

To say this place is great would be an understatement! To say the host was great would also be an understatement!! The pictures that are in the advertisement do not do it justice. The views are impeccable, the furniture is inviting and the bedroom is beyond comfortable. The outdoor decks allow you to enjoy every angle, and the patio furniture is clean and comfortable!! You will need for nothing. Eydie has given much attention to every detail needed for your stay here. Yes, the 3 flights of stairs can be a challenge but remember this review….do NOT over pack like I did….she has everything you could need. My next visit (and YES, I will stay again) will simply be 1 personal bag (ok, maybe another bag for my painting goodies as it’s an artists heaven) and therefore the stairs will be easy! Don’t be hesitant about the parking. It’s a SHORT walk away, and I found it to be a very safe environment. This abode can be a retreat of peace or you can jump right into the action, strolling on Bearskin Neck. There is nothing like catching the sunrise or collecting the sea glass on Front beach, and Eydie’s place is the PERFECT spot to facilitate your trip!! It’s always a bit unsettling when choosing an unknown place….DONT HESITATE!! This is a 12 out of 10!Eydie, you are the best treasure found at Rockport!! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!!

Late fall getaway in Rockport

Great location and host! Wonderful views all around from the decks and big windows. Delicious food options and eclectic shops all within walking distance. Quintessential New England coastal town with a lot of life and tons of history. We love the area and hope to return someday soon.

Great hostess, amazing location, great space and decks as you can manage the three flights of stairs. interior needs updating and a new mattress but overall place was great and kitchen is well stocked.

Harbor Hideaway

We had a fantastic stay! The location, overlooking a working fishing harbor, views of the water and outer islands on one side and Bearskin Neck and the Cove on the other side, and walking distance to shops and restaurants makes this the perfect place to stay. The unit was spacious and we felt at home as soon as we walked in the door - you will not want to leave. We are already planning our next visit.

20th Anniversary trip

We loved this place, perfect location. The place was stock really well. The hostess was easy to get a hold of if needed. We even tried to extend our trip but couldn’t find flights. We will definitely be coming back to stay again..
