Just as advertised. Very clean and well maintained. Great view of the lake and all the amenities you could possibly need. A terrific stay and would definitely stay there again.
Great home and property, long lake is also amazing. Our kids ages range from 9 to 19, there was always something fun to do for all! This home is one of the best equipped rentals we’ve ever stayed at. Great location for dunes or shopping!
Our family had a wonderful time enjoying Long lake and staying at this gorgeous home. It is beautifully decorated, gorgeous deck to enjoy the sunrise, a quiet moment or dinner outside. The home had everything you could ask for. Thanks.
The home was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of cooking and serving utensils. The beds were comfortable with nice linens and plenty of pillows. There are lovely sitting areas outside to enjoy the view of the lake and to enjoy dinner from the gas grill. Our grandson (almost 3) enjoyed playing in the sandy beach area and the shallow water. Kayaks and life jackets were available for use. The house is in a quiet neighborhood of very nice homes where we enjoyed walks each day. We also rented the owner's tritoon boat and enjoyed exploring the lake. Just a few minutes to Traverse City! Great house in a great location!
Rarely do you find a property that exceeds one's expectations, but Jackson Cellar North will do just that. Every room is tastefully decorated, and there are plenty of places for everyone to find their own little corner to read a book or take a business call. The proximity to Traverse City, National Sand Dunes, the airport, wineries, grocery stores etc. is also great. But the best part of this property is the lake!! Long Lake is a beautiful, clean, sandy bottom lake that is a boaters paradise. The shoreline is shallow for 50'+ and the water temp is great. Do rent the owner's boat ... best part of our vacation hands down! (Separate from the house rental.)
Kayak out to the 5 islands or pack a picnic lunch and your floaties and head to Long island (complete with outhouse) for a relaxing afternoon. At night enjoy time around the fire pit or playing one of the owner's many games. Truly one of the best properties we have rented.

We are so happy that you had a wonderful time. Jackson Cellars is truly a special place to spend your vacation. We would love to have you back!
We are taking reservations now for next summer.
Thank you for the lovely comments on this special property.
This is our second time staying at this property and it does not disappoint. The updates to the patio were a great addition to an already stunning home. There was plenty of room for our boat and the owner was gracious and very responsive to our needs/questions. We will definitely be back!
This property is beautiful and located right on Long Lake. The house came equipped with so many amenities that it was like staying in my own home. There were 2 fire pits, 2 kayaks with life vests, a grill, and a small beach area great for kiddos to play in the sand. We went at the end of June and the lake was very quiet and peaceful - there weren't a lot of boats/jet skis/tubing going on. The house was extremely comfortable for a family of 8 and our kids loved the bunk beds in one of the bedrooms. Working with the property management company & check in was extremely easy. The owner was also great if we never needed to communicate (and also willing to rent out their pontoon if of interest). Would definitely recommend staying here again! I don't have enough good things to say :)
Our family had the best time! Been renting a vacation home each summer for over 20 years in beautiful northern Michigan. My daughter and her family reside here. This was by far the most beautiful home ever! Perfect for our family, laying on the tubes, , jet skiing,, tubing, fishing and kayaking. Nice sandy beach which was perfect for our little 19 mth ok'd great grandson. The best fishing was right off the end of the dock!
