I have enjoyed my 12 years plus of Property Managing here at Mariposa, and have met some fantastic people! Up until 2020, when Covid began, I was also practicing as an Associate Marriage, Family Therapist. Human behavior fascinates me! I was surprised when I read Max’s review! The only time any guest have spilled on the carpet in this studio was a few years back, a young Women dropped her mimosa on the carpet. Since then, I have adopted a Hawaiian style no shoes inside the house and that one needs to be at least 25 years old to rent the space. Most guests are respectful of the ‘no shoes inside’ policy and we strive to keep carpet as clean as possible. After I read Max’s review, I went to personally inspect the carpets and they were just fine! I did note that after his stay, the tablecloth had been spilled on and basically destroyed! He had given me at the outset of his stay, He and his Girlfriend’s phone numbers, and I had given him mine, so I wonder why he didn’t contact me if he had an issue! I have spare sheets and linens inside the unit as well as a complimentary washer and dryer downstairs on the patio. I wonder if the review was a projection since he stained our tablecloth? His Girlfriend left her nightgown behind in the sheets, and I reached out to see if he wanted me to send it to him, but he didn’t respond. So it’s a little perplexing, but everyone is entitled to their opinion! I wanted to assure all future guests, I invite communication for a perfect stay!
