Just like Home

This is a great house in a quiet gated community! We went for vacation and to look at areas/properties to possibly purchase. We love this location! We were able to walk to the Colonia where we had a food tour and ate at local places —returned each night to the square for churros. And it’s a short drive or bike ride to the port side where the beach and more touristy shops are located. We enjoyed early morning walks in the neighborhood where we saw monkeys and lots of birds, also played pickle ball. The view from the rooftop deck is amazing and where we hung out each night sipping margaritas. I would definitely stay again!

We have been in Puerto Morelos for 6 weeks and decided to stay in different houses in different areas of the town. Out of the 6 places we stayed, Julie’s house was far superior. First off, the Host (Jessica) was incredible. Knowledgeable, helpful and spoke great English. She has really cared for this house and it shows. The house was stocked with everything you could possibly need (linens, cookware, appliances etc) even 3 sets of snorkels, beach chairs and a beach umbrella! The beds were very comfortable; the towels were clean and soft. The laundry machines worked perfectly. There was ample space throughout the entire house and the rooftop was everything you could ask for (with a stunning view too). The TV’s actually worked and Netflix/Prime was set-up for guests to use. Lastly, the internet was extremely fast and we never had any issues, not even for a second! By far, the best place to stay in Puerto Morelos. We all wish we found this place first and stayed for the entire 6 weeks at Julie's house.

Puertorena/Puerto Morelos vacation visit

Property is very nice, all amenities listed are correct. Had a great time and relaxed. Walked to the colonial side of town for groceries. Easy taxi ride about 1.5 miles to beach side of Puerto Morelos. Big house and lots of space. Note: lots of stairs so not ideal for bad knees or clumsy people. Was nice having washer/dryer. TV, Air and most conveniences were easily available. Some construction taking place across street and down the block but nothing bad. Pool was nice and refreshing and beautiful night time views of Puerto Morelos, seeing the light house, and cruise ships pass by. Nice and safe neighborhood, security at gate. You will have to toss your trash at the main gates of the property and bottled water is delivered each week, leave bottles outside door and cash under mat. Overall, had a wonderful experience and great stay! Thank you Jessica for all your help and recommendations. Nancy was wonderful for airport transport and trips around town and to Puerto Morelos/Playa Del Carmen.

Came to Puerto Morelos to get married. Rented several homes. This home was a hit! It has everything you need and more. Clean, modern, great location and host was available whenever needed! Recommend 10 out of 10!

I live in the Seattle, Washington area and fell in love with Puerto Morelos years ago when I first visited. I love it so much, I purchased this home and would love to share it with you. I hope you love Puerto Morelos as much as I do.

Why they chose this property

I love this neighborhood. It's close enough to town square and the beach to enjoy it every day if you choose, but it's also closer to where the locals live, eat and play. I love being more immersed in the culture. You can stay on a beach anywhere. Add to that the security of the neighborhood, and it's just a beautiful and safe location. I also love seeing the monkeys. I didn't even know there WERE monkeys here!
