Great for families

We had 5 kids under 5. Great for parents and kids. Well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed cooking. Separate small drink fridges were nice. Close to restaurants. Beds were comfy. Loved the view! Will be back!

Not what we expected!

Old stain discolored sheets on all beds. Out of our 7 day stay we had no water for a full day. We were not warned in advance and no compensation for the inconvenience of no water and brown water. So last the roaches in the kitchen is too much to ask the quest to endure. Yes, I took pictures of everything including the bugs. I texted management sent pictures and the only response was who killed the roach.

Penthouse 1

Pros- plenty of space. There were 11 of us and more than enough space for everyone. View- view is AMAZING. Can’t get any better. Condo has floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the view. Kitchen- kitchen is stocked adequately for the number of people, although we did bring some paper plates. Beds- beds and furniture are pretty comfortable. Cons- AIR CONDITIONING IN KING BEDROOM DOES NOT WORK ADEQUATELY. My husband and I specifically chose to stay in the king bedroom with the large walk in closet. We have a 1 year old and we’re planning to make the closet “his room” so he would be away from the noise of the condo and have his own space. The rest of the condo was at 69 degrees and our room was at 84. We kept the curtain closed (couldn’t see the nice view) and kept a fan in the doorway. He ended up having to sleep in our room and did not sleep well at all bc of the warm room. We had an air conditioning tech come out and he said there’s nothing he could do and that room is ALWAYS hot. Dryer- dryer does not work well. Had to run a cycle multiple times to get dry clothes. Cleanliness- not very clean. Rings in toilets. My feet were black from walking on the tile with no shoes. My 1 year old doesn’t walk yet so that was a bit gross. Communication- quick to get someone out about the AC but I tried for MONTHS to get the condo info needed to rent a crib and they didn’t understand what I was asking or wouldn’t give it to me. Overall, would probably stay in a different condo next time

Mostly wonderful

We stayed in penthouse 1 with our 2 adult daughters and our 4 grandkids. It was mostly wonderful but let me give you the pros and cons. First of all, let me preface this with the statement that we are spoiled. We have spent the last 10 years staying in an 8 bedroom house on the beach in Ft Morgan- but they finally outpriced us. Pros- great view Lots of space Fairly well stocked kitchen except no plastic dish ware Beds were comfortable Gulf Shores much more convenient to restaurants and stores than Ft Morgan Vacasa was really nice and responded quickly except tub not getting fixed Cons- Needs updating Low toilets Floors not very clean Balcony furniture uncomfortable Living room furniture not comfortable No Kleenexes Smelled like water damage Hole in front door where peephole had been ( they fixed it) Some burners on stove didn’t get Real hot Kids were looking so forward to taking a bubble bath in jet tubs- jets shoot out black corrosion and mold. Reported this on first day but nothing done Area rug in front room a trip hazard Need a new dryer or cleaned out We’re used to our beach house having multiple lounging chairs and beach towels- none here We had a great time

Was a nice stay but coulda been better

The beds and all were nice, there was a few things broken but really that didn't bother us. Beautiful view on the balcony love being able to see everything. Will most likely book again.

Penthouse #1 ~~ Awesome Condo

My 2nd time staying in the penthouse #1. Love how the living room, dining room and kitchen are open. We had a blast playing games at the huge table in the evenings after dinner. The view from the balcony was absolutely gorgeous, it was big enough for our group of 6 to have morning coffee and evening drinks. There are 3 elevators for the lighthouse condos, they are fast so the wait was always short. We did have an issue with the hot water in one of the bedrooms, but it was resolved quickly after I reported it. I would definitely recommend the Penthouse #1.

Family Beach Trip

Our family has taken a beach vacation for several years. This was our 3rd time to stay in Lighthouse Penthouse #1. We love everything about it….the ocean view from the balcony, easy access to the beach, the amenities and much more. You won’t be disappointed!!

Beautiful

The structure a d grounds do not do this unit justice. The unit was massive. 5 bedroom 4 baths, 2 suites Kitchen was well stocked, lots of storage thru out for beach equipment and travel items. Large entryway with benches. The beaches entry art needs updating with usable hooks for towels and such. The balcony is massive, we looked forward to it but unfortunately we weren't able to use it due to updating. The salt water indoor pool sprung a leak and we weren't able to use it. The zero gravity pool was unusable and a hottub beside it was broken We had use of 1 hot tub. The main pool, salt water pool for 2 days and the gym and sauna. The unit needs some general repairs to cabinetry but is comfortable, clean and offers a magnificent view of the gulf.

Amazing Views, Location and Space

We really enjoyed our time at the Lighthouse Penthouse! It was perfect for our extended family spring break adventure. The thoughtful decor was a really nice touch and we were very comfortable with 8 adults and 4 kids. The wraparound balcony offered incredible views. There was early morning construction work on the balcony during our stay, which was less than ideal, but also out of anyone's control and noted when making the reservation. The kitchen is equipped with anything you might need and the walk in pantry with extra mini fridges was a really nice bonus. The building amenities were great and the location couldn't have been better. Would definitely recommend this rental for your large group or family. We would love to return!

We had a great time. The condo is very nice. Only negative is the rug is rolling up on the edges and creates a trip hazard in the living room area.

Nearly perfect

The unit was absolutely beautiful with the perfect layout to give everyone privacy when wanted. The kitchen was one of the best stocked ive ever seen. Views were amazing. My only complaint is the matresses were terrible. Noone in our party slept well our entire stay.

Wonderful!

This is a beautiful condo. It is nice and spacious and the beds are comfy. The view is priceless. Check-in could be better. You can’t check in until 4pm, so everyone is checking in at the same time, with one person manning the process. Might have been due to not wanting to overcrowd because of COVID, but an additional place for check-in during that busy time could surely be considered. Was aware of the $30 per vehicle parking pass, but didn’t like it. Have never had additional cost to park. Is that what condos are going to now? This is a premium rental at premium price, so the price for parking should have been included.
