This romantic Mountain Home can be totally enjoyed without leaving the grounds. The view of Whiteside Mountain is a staple on the must-see-stops along the beautiful US Hwy 64. Enjoy this highly sought after perspective from the comforts of your kitchen, couch and master bed! This home comes equip with all the best appliances, including a Wolf Range stovetop/oven nestled in a spacious marble countertop island. The open floor plan allows for entertaining dinners accompanied by a full frontal view of the landscape. A highlight of this home is the 4 person hot tub and calming water feature. The LG HD 86" TV with SONOS surround sound bar is perfect for the ultimate movie nights next to the real wood burning fireplace. During the cool summer months, you can peel back the large 16 ft pocket door\windows that are located in front of house to get the full open feel of the mountains. The Master bedroom also provides a direct view of Whiteside Mountain. The second master suite is located on opposite side of the house up a staircase for maximum privacy. Both bedrooms have direct access to their full bathrooms. This home is conveniently located right between the two main towns, Highlands and Cashiers, and you are less than ten minutes from both! This house has an incredible view and a perfect blend of rustic elegance. It’s just a short drive to downtown Highlands and only a few minutes from the Whiteside Mountain trailhead. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was great for cooking, and the hot tub was a highlight after a day of exploring.We were warmly welcomed with fresh flowers and a bottle of wine upon arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch. Hailey, the property manager, was friendly and helpful, offering great tips for restaurants and activities in the area.We would definitely stay here again!

It was an incredible home. We had the perfect vacation. House was clean and exactly as promoted. The view was amazing. It was myself and my 91 year old mom that stayed. It was easy access for her, and we had everything we needed. House was convenient to both Highlands and Cashiers. Would highly recommend, and we will definitely visit again. Host was fantastic and super helpful with any questions!

Absolutely loved our stay at this mountain retreat! The views were breathtaking, the house was cozy and spotless, and the location was perfect for hiking and relaxing. Went 3 nights with my wife. House and pictures just as described. Communication with owners was outstanding. Beautiful property with every you need. Loved relaxing in the jacuzzi while it was snowing! Directly in the middle of Highlands and Cashiers. Plenty of food, fun, and waterfalls. 5 stars all the way.

Relaxing and cozy getaway

We had a wonderful time in this cozy mountain home. Hailey was wonderful and gave us plenty of recommendations. The house was clean and well stocked. The fireplace was wonderful and having all the chopped wood available was very convenient. We had a very nice Valentines vacation.

Magical Place

Wow! Where do I begin? I booked this cabin for a long weekend to celebrate my friend’s 40th birthday. I reached out to Hailey for bakery recommendations and not only did she send them, she offered to pick the cake up and have it in the cabin upon check in! She left a bottle of wine for us and a birthday balloon as well. The view is spectacular, the house is beyond cozy and beautiful, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is dreamy. We lucked out with snow and enjoyed the wood burning fireplace with views of snow in the mountains. This was our second time at the cabin, while it was the other couple’s first time. We all agreed this will be an annual tradition for the 4 of us. I can’t sing its praises enough!

Forever Views of Fall Foliage!

We loved our stay at White Mountain cabin! Everything was perfect! Can’t say enough about the view, it was hard to leave! The Fall Foliage was beautiful! Beautiful view you won't want to leave

I cannot say enough good things about this property. Location was everything! Right in between Highlands and Cashiers, you are in the perfect spot for going hiking or going out to eat, although we had a hard time tearing ourselves away from the home long enough to do either. The view is incredible! The property owners have truly thought of everything and we didn't wont for anything while we were there! We would love to return here one day!

Luxury with an amazing view

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend getaway and we loved it. The house is beautiful, luxurious, clean and very well appointed. Woke up every morning to the most incredible mountain view from the bedroom and living room. There are waterfalls, hiking trails and restaurants/shopping within short driving distance. Perfect romantic getaway!
