Creekside Family Getaway! Cant get any closer to the creek than this! Perfect for families who want to spend time playing in and enjoying the sounds of the creek! Only 3 miles from downtown Bryson City!
There's lots of flexibility in this cozy creekside cabin which sleeps 6. There's a private bedroom downstairs with a queen bed; and a spacious sleeping loft with 4 twin beds upstairs. The covered porch with rockers overlooks a campfire area below at water's edge. Its hard to get any closer to the creek than this cabin! Enjoy the relaxing sounds of Lands Creek flowing right outsider your windows!
The Deer Run and Raccoon Retreat cabins have a covered creekside picnic pavilion between them. Their proximity makes for a good fit when more than one cabin is needed. The two cabins are virtually identical.
This cabin has it all, with more amenities than we can list:

Gas log fireplace
Satellite TV
Full kitchen
One full bath
Linens, towels
Porch rockers

Located in Bryson City, this cabin is in a rural area and on the waterfront. Great Smoky Mountains Railroad and Oconaluftee Indian Village are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Nantahala Brewing Company and Smoky Mountain Country Club. Smokey Mountain Trains Museum and Cherokee Botanical Garden and Nature Trail are also worth visiting. We became a part of Bryson City and its people in July of 1999 when we purchased the property that would become Lands Creek Log Cabins. As with many of our friends, we’d visit the Great Smoky Mountains as often as we could and each time it was tougher to go back home. From the first time we drove into this valley and alongside Lands Creek we knew we were meant to be here.
Robin moved up to start working on the site and building cabins in July of 2000. Sue, along with sons Josh and Kyle followed in June 2001. What later became the Squirrel’s Nest Cabin was the only cabin here when we began.
Lands Creek Log Cabins is a business built by the efforts and belief of family and friends. It is a true “family business” in every sense.
By the efforts of many we have grown a great deal in our time. Our grounds are now at 100 acres and the home to 19 wonderful cabins and The Lands Creek Lodge. At the center of it and down by the creek is Harmony Hall.
As we have grown, we have had one goal at the foundation of our business: To touch peoples’ lives in a positive way and to provide the opportunity for memories.
