Nestled in nature and only steps from the beach. Seaside Perch has everything you’ll need for a relaxing retreat away from home. Enjoy a cozy private patio with a fire pit and bbq. Go for a sunset stroll down Whiffin Spit trail and stop at the renown Sooke Harbour House for a cocktail or appies. Travel down West Coast Road and discover our many beautiful beaches. And at the end of your day snuggle in to a cozy, very comfortable king size bed. Our goal is to make sure you are comfortable so you can enjoy all the beauty that Sooke has to offer.

We loved our stay at the seaside perch! The suite is very clean, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed. The hosts are extremely friendly, and the location is perfect – close to the ocean, and close to Sooke Harbour House where we could visit the bakery, and have a nice dinner. We will definitely come again!

Very welcoming and friendly hosts. Excellent, clean and quiet accommodation. Great location, a block from the water and the Whiffen Spit where we had a great long walk out and caught a beautiful sunset on the way back.

The hostess Paula, went beyond and extra for me and my little one (20 months). She had outfitted the place to be child friendly and further let me check in early so i can pick him up from the airport for a smooth trabsition into the suite. she also extended the checkout so we could stay extra time until it was time to go to the airport.She left toys, created a small bed, made the plugs in child proof among the many other beyond the usual treatment of a guest.i left thinking i could go back there anytime for an equal to hopd experience. Nearby we saw sombrio beach, big lonely dog, the shaw marine ecology centre and the local sooke pier.great experience.

We are so grateful to Paula and Ed for their hospitality! Wow. It was the best experience for us because both of them treated us so warmly. From the fresh eggs and milk in the fridge to the immaculately clean and beautifully decorated space - everything was a wow. We highly recommend this space. So close to the beach too!

Simply Incredible

The suite was just incredible! My husband and I were so impressed by the cleanliness, terrific layout and decor of the space. The bed was sooooo comfortable. We also very much appreciated the privacy and lovely touches such as the fresh flowers and eggs, coffee and cream. This suite is a true oasis located close to fine dining (Sooke Harbour House), Prestige hotel and a lovely sunset walk on Whiffin Spit! We were close to the Sooke Hills' hikes that we love and French beach too...couldn't ask for more. Thank you:)
