Beautiful location!

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay this past weekend at Luna Seas! The views from the cabin are nothing short of amazing. Although we are not hot-tubbers, the hot tub has a prime view and is private to all but passing boats! We saw a family of 10-12 seals float by several times one day, hundreds of birds of all types, and even a deer that wandered into the yard below. Although we couldn't access the beach below at low tide, there are numerous awesome beach hikes just a short drive away. Sooke has several very nice restaurants as well. The cabin was decently stocked, enough so that we could prepare breakfasts and lunches. Great water pressure in the shower, too, and all was immaculate! The only slight negatives, which really don't reflect my rating as you can see, are the lack of a sofa to cuddle on -- there are just two big arm chairs, and the somewhat insubstantial eating table with slats that our playing cards kept falling through (!). Everything else is perfect. Thank you so much for making this slice of heaven available to us! We will be back :)

Romantic Retreat Holiday Happiness

  • 5 of 5

We were "home" when we arrived each night. Enjoyed the hot tub at the end of each day. We felt welcomed in the neighborhood and enjoyed the proximity to all there is to see on the island. We appreciated the care to details to make our stay special, and the privacy. We plan to return!

Beautiful and perfectly located getaway

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I absolutely loved Luna Seas! The view is spectacular--we loved watching sunrises and sunsets from the porch. The cottage is clean, stylish, and very well appointed. The perfect spot to relax, play a few board games, and cook a few meals. We especially enjoyed spotting otters and porpoises off the deck, relaxing in the hot tub (the cottage gets exceptional moonlight), barbecuing our dinners, and exploring the beaches and businesses around Sooke. I can't say enough good things about Luna Seas--it's one of the most gorgeous places we've ever stayed and we would recommend it without hesitation. We hope to return soon!

Perfect little getaway!

  • 5 of 5

What a perfectly appointed and hidden little gem on the coast of Vancouver Island! The view both day and night was spectacular -- I can't remember the last time I saw so many stars in the sky and felt so relaxed on a vacation. The cabin was small but the perfect size for two people, and everything was exceptionally well thought-out. It's also exceptionally clean; I'm a bit of a germophobe but felt very comfortable with how clean everything was, including the hot tub. The only thing I would recommend is to bring your own beach towels for the hot tub, as there aren't a lot of bath-size towels onsite. But this is really not even worth mentioning, because everything was just so perfect. I hope to come back here again!

Beautiful ❤️

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent our first wedding anniversary in Sooke and stayed at this wonderful place. Nice and quiet. Our favourite was not only the marine life we saw but watching the cruise ships go by at night while we sat in the hot tub. Only suggestion would be a TV for movies. What couple doesn't like to curl up and watch a movie? Other than that this place was perfect.

It was the perfect stay!

  • 4 of 5

We had a few absoutely great days in the Luna Seas Retreat. Just on our first day we could watch a small Orca family, a few Otters and the one and another Sea Lion straight in front of the cottage. Also all the further days were allways amazing and we missed nothing during the whole stay.
