Awesome floor plan! Separate living room and den provides a separate areas for adults and kids to gather. Beautiful lagoon view from the dock - bring your fishing poles! Spacious deck with seating for 12. Tastefully decorated and it just feels like home. Everything you need to relax and enjoy your vacation. Rent a Canoe at Hilton Head Outfitters, paddle the 1100 feet down the lagoon and tie it up to our dock to enjoy the fishing and nature of the 14 mile lagoon system!

The Living and Dining Areas were modernized in August 2022 with new furniture, updated paint and eye for detail. You will never want to leave!

We had a great time

Our stay at Terry's house was outstanding. Terry was responsive and communicated efficiently. The house was beautiful and accommodated our family of eight. It was equipped with all the essential items for cooking at home. The boys had an excellent time fishing on the dock. We rented bikes and enjoyed riding around the resort. The beach was within a short bike ride. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone visiting Hilton Head Island.

Southern Comfort

Large, comfortable, super clean house in a lovely tree covered neighborhood on the lagoon. The location was convenient, the yard was private with huge moss covered trees. We watched deer and water birds from the large deck and listened to a barred owl hoot every day. My husband loved fishing from the dock and watching kayakers glide by. Perfect for a family or for 1 or 2 couples. Had everything we needed.

Wonderful Sister Getaway

My sister and I rented your home for a few days to get away from life’s stresses. We enjoyed the house especially the backyard where you can sit and watch the canal. We rented bikes and explored the area. It was a wonderful place to enjoy time with my sister and make precious memories.

Better than Imagined

This house was bigger than we expected. It had plenty of room for our large group and the location could not have been better. The deck was much appreciated as we sat there a lot and chatted for hours. The property is very private, yet close to everything that we wanted to do. We had a wedding to go to at the Omni Resort and were pleasantly surprised to see that it was actually within the Palmetto Dunes community. The beach accesses were great. Easy to get to and navigate. We ate at Big Jim's on the property and enjoyed their happy hour. There was a small brewery we went to called Side Hustle that had wonderful brews and staff. We didn't have to drive far since everything we needed or wanted was within a couple of miles. But to be honest, we didn't go many places as we were always so happy to get back to the house again. Can't complain about one thing. The house was comfortable, the beds were great and the neighborhood was fantastic. No, I do have one complaint...my son didn't catch any fish from the dock. But hey, we even enjoyed that as well. I would absolutely not hesitate to stay here again and recommend it to anyone!

Suggestions and Compliments

Suggestions: Leave some water in the refrig. Coffee for 1 day. We came in late and had to run to store for coffee and fixings so we could drink our coffe on the Patio the next morning. 2 wash clothes per person. 1 box of tissues please. And. The blow dryer did not work. Compliments: The beds were all great and clean. The place was gteat. Kitchen was great. Lots of hot water for 5 women to shower or bath everyday. The light in the front was very btight so the front bedroom needs black out curtains. Please check the front outside chairs the welds are breaking Loose. We would rent again. Thanks

Family wedding

House was clean and fit our family needs. Location was good also but traffic around the island is heavy so I’m glad everything is close by. We had a minor issue with kitchen faucet but it was attended promptly so no complaints. Will be looking forward to another trip to Hilton Head.

Fabulous!

We have been coming to HHI for 17 years. This was by far our best stay! Gorgeous backyard and spacious house…we have four young adults now and there was plenty of room for everyone. The boys particularly enjoyed fishing off the dock at the backyard!

Peaceful retreat

We highly recommend this lovely property! It has all the comforts of home and is even more beautiful in person. It is located on the lagoon and the wildlife is a highlight! We didn't wanna leave the property to go do anything else because we were so relaxed at this home away from home. You must book this home! You won't regret it.

Great stay!

We had the best time at Terry’s property! The house is perfect and had all of the amenities we needed and the location is great - just a quick bike ride to the beach. The lagoon is an added bonus, we enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and watching gators swim by! The property manager was extremely helpful when needed and very quick to reply. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Hilton Hideaway

Great neighborhood and we loved the cozy home!!! The trees are epic and so amazing to be close to all we needed and have a secluded spot of our own! We rode our bikes daily to the Disney Beach house which also has a Palmetto Dunes access and great clean bathrooms! The guitar at the house was great for the family including me, the mom! The home was super spacious and had everything we needed! Thank you for sharing your home with us!!!

Great House! Great Location

This house was fantastic and the property description and photos undersell what a great property this is. My wife, kids and I all loved this house. The house, bedrooms, kitchen, dining, and living rooms were clean and spacious even for our large party. The deck is very large with a nice backyard and lagoon view. There is a nice size dock directly on the lagoon which provided easy access for our kayaks and fishing. The kitchen and appliances were great and had everything for the nights we cooked and ate in. The main living room is huge with two large couches and several chairs, large TV on the mantle. Great for game nights and hanging out. There is an additional second living room area with a pull out couch, chairs and another TV. Great for the kids to hang out and have their own area. The dining room table is large and there is an additional dining table in a breakfast nook off the kitchen. Lots of seating in or out. The deck also has a great grill and seating with a table. Master bedroom also looks out at the lagoon and is a great size with a large closet. The location in Palmetto Dunes is fantastic. Easy walk or bike ride to The Dunes House beach access or Disney Beach house. If you have never been, this is a great stretch of beach with nice waves and sand. Hilton Island Outfitters is literally a 5 minute walk and there you can rent bikes (we did for a week) and kayaks. Easy walk to the beach and free shuttle service available throughout Palmetto Dunes (Dunes Buggy). Biking around Palmetto Dunes and the Beach was great even for our kids (7,9,11 and 14). Kayaking was also a lot of fun and we also fished off the dock. There are some amazing trees on the property and lots of wildlife in the area. We had several questions about the property and Palmetto Dunes and the property owner always responded in a timely manner and he also offered up several great tips for our stay at Hilton Head and Palmetto Dunes. Great property and we hope to stay again in the future.

Cozy cove

It is obvious that this home is well loved. We had such a comfortable stay here. My husband and I carved out our favorite morning routines. His fishing at the dock mine reading in the small room off the kitchen while we waited for the kids to wake up. Everything was very clean with no needed repairs. Nicely furnished and tastefully decorated, we immediately felt like we belonged here. On rainy days we stayed cozied up. Couldn’t ask for a better home away from home.

A Delightful Surprise and Experience

The home and property are much nicer than the photos. I appreciated the easy communication with the owner. The property manager personally checked-in with us and provided great restaurant options. We will definitely return in a much more relaxed mood knowing we're coming into a beautiful environment & home.

My wife and I have absolutely no regrets renting this home. The pictures do a great job of capturing the state of the property but one thing that is unable to be seized is the cozy warm vibe that emanates. The place was clean & neat (as in the pictures) and well stocked. The fishing dock was a plus as well. It is nicely situated to any convenience one might want to indulge and there were a host of things to do within walking distance or nearby. We couldn't have stumbled upon a nicer find. It made our stay all the better and we will be back.
