Nice Cabin, Lovely Mountainside

We chose ths location for its close proximity to area trails, waterfalls, dams, and downtown Blue Ridge. From the winding road and thick tree canopy to the spacious interior and sleeping loft, our family of three (including a 7 year old) really enjoyed our stay.

We booked this cabin to celebrate our 15th anniversary in Blue Ridge. It was perfect for just a couples getaway but enough room for the kiddos to if they tag along. We have no complaints the location was great only 5 mins from Blue Ridge & about 10 from Ellijay. It was very clean & very complimentary from the cute little box of dish soap, laundry soap etc to the make up remover wipes. This will definitely be our go to stay when we come back to Blue Ridge.

Cozy Cabin

Perfect cabin and location for a short stay. The kitchen is small and not the best for cooking big meals but perfect for a quick visit. The bed was very comfortable and the neighborhood was beautiful. We enjoyed taking walks up and down the street.

quiet and cozy cabin

We enjoyed four nights at the cabin. A 10 min drive to Blue Ridge, so it is a convenient location. We really liked having the BBQ grill available to use along with the gas fireplace. It rained part of the time we were there but the cabin was a cozy place to spend a rainy morning. the surrounding woods are pretty. We heard a bear overnight try to get in the garbage but it was locked tight. We would stay again!

Cozy Little Cabin in the Woods

My husband and I chose to celebrate our fiftieth wedding anniversary alone at this little cabin in the woods. It was very clean, nicely decorated and thoughtfully appointed. It accommodated the two of us comfortably without our feeling we were either cramped or rattling around. We didn't try hiking near the cabin, as we were out during the days being tourists in Ellijay and Blue Ridge, but it was a gorgeous neighborhood in the woods with a stream nearby and all the neighbors in log homes like ours. The road into the cabin from the highway was narrow, winding and unlighted, so we never stayed out past sunset, but we never had any real problems navigating it; turning onto it out of the driveway was a bit tight. We spent mornings and evenings at the cabin using the kitchen to make breakfast or snacks, and the kitchen was fine for that. We watched TV at night, and the offerings were extensive. Internet service was fine. We did not try to use the barbecue, and it wasn't the season for the fireplace. We kept the air conditioner set at 70, and that was fine. The king-sized bed in the ground floor bedroom was very comfortable. We didn't use the loft bedroom, but it looked very inviting for up to three people, the only drawback being that there was no bathroom on that floor. We would definitely recommend the Joann Sisson neighborhood to anyone and this particular cabin to others who don't want or need room for a large number of people.

The cabin was very clean and well stocked. For a relatively small kitchen we found it to be well equipped with a variety of tools and small appliances. Our stay was for spring break but the weather decided to give us a winter break instead; but this cabin was the perfect place to hunker down for a long weekend. The fireplace worked perfectly and the beds were warm and comfy. We would definitely stay here again (and intend to!)
