Great little getaway cabin. Wish weather had been better, but we still had a great time.
My Husband and I had a great time and this cabin is wonderful. The only complaint I have was the TV. I am not familiar with I think it was Ruko. I followed the directions on the TV stand and it wouldn't do anything. What happened to plan ol satellite TV? I was fine with not having TV but my husband was not. lol But other than that we would defiantly stay at this cabin again.
A little piece of heaven in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains!
This charming cabin in the idealic setting of the Blue Ridge Mountains exceeded our expectations in every way. Whether it was enjoying a light rain storm while soaking in the hot tub or adventuring in our own “backyard river,” our family created unforgettable memories. This will definitely be a vacation to remember and hopefully revisit!
The property was beautifully maintained and is in an ideal location for a secluded getaway.
The cabin itself was absolutely gorgeous, having a very rustic feel to it. The owners left instructions around the cabin for things like the TV's, the hot tub, etc... Everything was provided for (even suggested activities for the surrounding areas).
Overall, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a secluded cabin in the mountains.
Very nice cozy mountain cabin at the edge of the river, comfortable in every aspect. Well equipped.
Property is well located, well maintained, very comfortable. We totally enjoyed our stay.
Exactly what we expected and were looking for.
We read all the reviews and we were very pleased that we arrived to exactly what we expected. We appreciated that the owners had thought of so many small details that made us feel like we were genuinely welcome guests. The fishing rods and fish food are a perfect example of this. We had everything we could possibly need, including little candies on the table after our long drive. We appreciated that we weren't expected to start laundry, but we still did it anyway! The weather was very kind to us, allowing us to shut of the HVAC and open the doors and enjoy the sound of the running creek. The rain on our faces while we sat in the hot tub, coupled with the sound of the rain on the tin roof, were very tranquil indeed. The driveway was great compared to other cabins we have stayed in, and we were easily able to turn our truck around and go in and out of town quickly. Local patrons loved having us visit and were eager to suggest hiking trails and other things for us to do. I was really impressed that this owner doesn't mark down the average nightly rate to drive traffic to look at their cabin, and then turn around and tack on excessive management fees and such. Instead, what you see in the nightly average is exactly what you get when you go to make your reservation. I hesitate to let everyone know how great we think this place is because it might make our chances of staying here on a regular basis less likely. If you genuinely want to relax and enjoy the nature around you, this cabin is for you. Thank you for the owners for sharing this lovely place with others!!!!
Quiet relaxing location on a large creek with beautiful view. Hear the sounds of nature and flowing water. Hike the Blue Ridge Mountains or enjoy touring the local Vineyards. Fishing, whitewater rafting and tubing nearby.
