Well located two story cute house with a fenced yard. Walking distance to downtown with restaurants, Shopping, and the neighborhood grocery store. My family loved it.
Had a fantastic trip to CB - very cosy and well stocked house with plenty of room for our family. Exceptionally clean. Great location, a short walk to the mountain bus and to town. Will definitely stay again! Thanks so much.
We had a great stay! The house had everything we needed and was very close to the bus top you could access to take you to the mountain. It was not walkable to Elk Street in the snow, but I imagine any other time it would be possible. We will be back!
Our second year renting this property and couldn’t be happier (maybe if it had a hot tub). Terrific location within walking distance of town, 5-10 minute drive to the mountain and wonderful house. Perfect set up for 2 families with kids and the detached garage (heated) is perfect for storing all the ski stuff after a day on the mountain. Highly recommend this property!
Clean and charming home. Great location for hopping on the town bus to get to town or ride up to the Mtn for skiing. Beds are comfortable. Nice towels. Kitchen stocked with everything you need for cooking. Stayed two weeks and enjoyed it very much! Would happily book this home again.
We stayed 2 nights at this house. It was in a good location - skied & it was a nice place to come back to. The kitchen table was a bit wobbly but other than that everything was in good shape. Living room was comfortable & kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable & clean. Shower was nice. We walked all over town which is pretty close. I would recommend staying here.
Great location. The house was well designed for our family. The kitchen was well appointed and master suite was awesome. The windows left so much light into the house making it so welcoming. The yard and plantings were beautiful and inviting. Gated yard provided a great space for the grandkids to play and be safe. 2 car Garage availability is a great addition too. Would rent again.
I can’t say enough about how much we loved this house. It is so well cared for and thoughtful. The space is very well utilized and it is evident that homeowners put a lot of love into this house. It is sunny and immaculately clean. The beds are exceptionally comfortable with high quality bedding. The location is the best, one block from the bus stop, a 10 minute walk into the center of Elk and quiet as can be at night.
Street parking rules can be a little tricky in winter, but there is ample street parking and a lot of information in the house to help renters understand the rules.
The house is incredible. Our family of four had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the views— literally mountains and sky from every window. The house is so perfectly located it makes us wonder why we don’t live in Crested Butte already. (Oh yeah, it’s not that easy!). From this location, we had access to parks, trails and restaurants and shops. All walking, and on bike. We truly felt like we belonged in the abundantly friendly town, and feel lucky for having had the chance to live like locals for a week. Also, my youngest daughter left her prized stuffed animal behind, one she had had since she was two. We called the property manager and they made a point to not only find it, but also ship it to us the next day. Great place, great town and great hosts. We’ll be back!
The property was great. We love Crested Butte. We did have one bad experience with the house when there. We came home from biking & there were 2 men at the house. They stated they had been inside to check the shower & turn on the irrigation. We went in the front door and I was talking to my husband about how I was not comfortable with them just coming in & not notifying us first. What if my teenagers had been asleep upstairs or showering. My kids are older so they don’t go everywhere with us. Then the man comes around the corner from the back door & says “I am overhearing your conversation & I want to explain”.
I could not believe he had came in the back door knowing we were at the home. He then started explaining to us why he was in the house again. When my husband tried explaining to him why we were uncomfortable with him just coming in, then sneaking in the back door, and ease dropping on a private conversation, the man just keep talking over my husband loudly. It was so weird and made us feel a little uneasy.
Although the house is great and Crested Butte is just amazing the property management needs to have better communication with the renters.

Its hard to know where to start with this so a little background information might be helpful. The guest reached out by email the evening of their arrival that there was no water coming out of the tap in the upper shower. We received that email the next morning and so we waited til midday to go by the house and repair the faucet. My husband knocked on the door loudly and when there was no response he let himself into the house. He than continued to shout "maintenance" so as to not startle anyone and noone answered. He went upstairs to the shower, found it to be working fine and realized it was guest error in operating it. When he came back outside he found the gardeners who were hoping to turn on the irrigation system. Since he didn't think he was disturbing anyone at the house (because noone was there), they quickly went through the backdoor and into the crawlspace to turn that system on. When he came back out the guests were in the front yard where they were visibly agitated. He explained he was with our company and that per their request he came to repair the faucet. He also explained the situation with the gardeners and that he just needed to go into the backdoor to close the hatch to the crawlspace and clean the tile floor where they had tracked in a bit of dirt and he would depart. The guest apparently didn't hear that and they were discussing the situation with him being in the room and he went to them to try to allay their angst. He was not listening in on a private conversation as the guest suggests and NOR did he sneak into the house. We simply do NOT do that. We as a company try to react as quickly as we can when any of our guests have an issue. We did just that and instead of a warm smile or word the guests got extremely upset. All we can determine is that one of the guests made a request to repair the faucet and didn't tell their spouse creating a huge miscommunication all around. There should have been no shock to anyone that we were there. To reiterate the ONLY reason we were even on the property was to make a repair of something that they requested which wasn't broken to begin with. Their review is unfair to the owners of this lovely home and unfair to us as a business.
Teocalli Time was a beautiful house, very comfortable and clean, had all the space we needed to work and relax. Would stay here again over and over. Would not change a thing.
Extremely well appointed and well equipped property located very close to downtown. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. One of the very best VRBO homes we have ever rented. Highly recommend.
We had such an enjoyable stay! The house was in great condition, close to so many things, and had such comfortable beds! Everything in the home was clean - they had everything we needed for a comfortable stay - appliances, bikes, laundry, grill. We had not needs that were not met. Communication with the property managers was seamless. The home is near Rainbow Park and my kids loved to ride their bikes and scooters through the neighborhood. It was a great street.
This was our first visit to CB and we will for sure be returning. Thank you for helping to make our first stay so enjoyable.
The house was perfect and we were devastated to leave! So cozy, quaint, clean and quiet, and walking/biking distance to everything in town including the recreational path to Mount Crested Butte! We definitely plan on going back, couldn’t recommend it more. Thanks for opening up your home to us!
