We enjoyed our stay. The house was well cleaned. We had plenty to do in the game area. The hottub was clean and hot!! We were a family of 12. So, for us we did not have enough towels in the house. Between showers and the hottub, we ran out fast. There is a washer and dryer, therefore, we did wash towels everyday.

Wow what a spot!!! We had 7 kids 5 and under(!) and 5 adults. Plenty of sleeping spaces for all!! Getting to Dollywood early, home for naps then back for evening was so easy from The Gathering Place!! It was immaculate too!! I left a little something extra for cleaning crew because… see above! Matthew was very responsive to my emails and texts. Only negative comment is: there was no broom!! BYOB!! Thank you Matthew . Great place.

This place was great, it really was. Kids loved the game room and there were more than enough beds and bathrooms. There were two things that we didn’t realize before picking The Gathering Place: so many stairs! And there are two bedrooms on the very bottom floor with no door in between. There is a giant jacuzzi bath down there too but I was with in laws and nephew that I was afraid to traumatize if they came down the stairs lol! Overall, we were very pleased with the cabin. Just the pictures were a little misleading of the amount of stairs (in laws were older).

Thanks for your review. The cabin is spread out over 4 levels with a bedroom or two and bathroom on each floor and the game floor in between so you do get your steps in if you walk from the bottom to the top! Glad your group had an overall good time!
