We had the best time here. The cabin was super clean, very cozy and lacked nothing!!! The host was also very friendly, fInstructions were very easy to follow and overall friendly. We would most definitely come back here if available the next time we come up.

My girlfriend and I had a terrific time at this location. This place is dialed in. It's far enough from town but also close enough to it. The hot tub was great and we really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend this location. Thanks for a great experience.

The house is tidy, clean, and pet friendly. Location is in a walkable wooded area with a short drive into downtown.The host was very helpful and responsive. The only downside was the lack of A/C. Great place to stay for an extended week-end.

It made me feel like a kid again with the hot tub and arcade machine. Me and my friend enjoyed the week here and everything necessary is at most 10-20 minutes away!

The entire property was good. The only thing that needs to be improved is the front yard is only weeds, but that does seem to be kind of the norm in that Big Bear area. So maybe maybe they don't allow grass but maybe a nice bark or rock would be good there

Great place!

Would definitely recommend this cabin. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need - and then some. Lovely dining room table that easily doubles as a workspace. The beds were very comfy with soft sheets and warm covers. The living room was large and great to relax in. Loved the Roku tv. Nice to have access to a bbq and gas fire pit that we used a couple of times. All in all - a really wonderful place!

The best cabin we’ve stayed in!

We cannot say enough great things about this home. We travel to big bear every year and are no strangers to cabin rentals. This one is by far the best we’ve stayed at! Traveling with two small children can be stressful, but this home made our experience so much better than expected. Having a washer/dryer and a fully loaded kitchen was perfect for our needs. Also, the minimal decor (that the kids could get into) was also a plus. My son (4yo) had a blast with the arcade games in “his room” and our daughter(1yo) had so much fun in the snow in the fully fenced yard. My husband and I enjoyed the hot tub and the quiet neighborhood. Everything about our stay was exceptional and we will absolutely be renting from David again! Thank you!

My son’s nose bled due to the place being hot(its not a good place to stay over summer) instead of an apology from the owner,charged extra for the pillow and comforter for the drops of blood that I’m sure a $5 tide stain remover cannot handle. They charge for a cleaning fee but pls do clean up after yourselves if you dont wanna get another invoice for a supposedly an hr clean up into a 2 day clean accdg to their cleaner. They made sure they charged for everything and per head but didnt leave enough pillow or comforter for the extra guests.

Cute cabin but needs maintenance

To keep it short, the cabin was nice and easily accommodated two people. The photos lined up accurately. The issues we had were disappointing because they affected our plans. The hot tub water looked a shade of green and smelled badly. We discovered the chlorine tablet holder had nothing in it, and the bottom of the holder was not attached. The hot tub was the main reason we booked the cabin. It was unfortunate it wasn't cleaned before we arrived. The cabin walls and door frames had gunk and chipped paint. A quick coat of paint and a good cleaning would fix that. The fans and kitchen hood were dusty and coated in an oil film. We also discovered there were no disinfecting all-purpose cleaners for the kitchen counter tops or stove top, and no lysol/clorox wipes. That didn't sit well with us and we bought some to clean the bathroom and kitchen. The bathroom tub wasn't clean and there was old soap dried on the tile wall. Because it was winter, we wanted to enjoy a relaxing weekend cuddled inside. We made it one day, but couldn't settle comfortably knowing things weren't clean, which made us question what else hadn't been cleaned properly. The heater worked, the fireplace was nice, and the neighborhood was quiet. We made the most of it, but won't be staying here again.

Tan film live along the edge of the water line around the inside of the spa. Maybe get a gardener for the weeds in the backyard. But the large connect four was a great touch. The board games could be updated with all pieces would help. There's a lot of little pieces of paper trash and colored pages torn out from kid coloring books in manh of the drawers. The bathroom has a hair burning smell once in awhile when you walk in to the bathroom so you might want to check that out sometimes that means electrical problem. Other than that everything was good. We had a wonderful time. Just wanted to point out those few things just for future tense. But we really did have a good time.

Why they chose this property

Big bear has alway been an annual tradition for my family and we have alway dreamed of owning a cabin up here and after seeing our cabin we just new that this was the one and we had to have it. We hope you enjoy our cabin as much as we do.

What makes this property unique

We have a full-size arcade machine with more than 2000 vintage arcade games to play. Enjoy a home-cooked meal in the fully furnished, contemporary kitchen, which is equipped with a refrigerator, full-sized oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, Keurig with pods, and espresso machine, before relaxing in our soothing 6-person hot tub. Alternatively, you can cook your meals in a peaceful backyard on the outdoor gas grill.
Watch television on the 43" and 50" smart TVs in the master bedroom and living room, respectively. Play one of the many board games and card games that are on hand to make it a games night.
You may eliminate range anxiety by quickly charging your EV at our facility for FREE.
