We selected this home for its amenities and location and were not disappointed. It was fully equipped with something for everyone and a pleasure to come home to after each day of seeing the sights. We would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable home for a family vacation. The owners were kindly available for any question we had.

Lovely San Diego Getaway

Came here with my family, 8 adults and 4 children ranging from 2 to 10 years old. The house fit all all very easily, it was very spacious! We got lots of outside time with all the fun activites and so much time in the amazing pool! Kitchen was stocked well. Linens and beds were great. Host was very responsive and even came by when we had an issue. Highly recommend this house for your vacation!

Our Best San Diego Vacation Stay to Date!

The property is tucked away in a lovely neighborhood. The home is as beautiful as pictured, if not better. I’ve rented from VRBO multiple times and have been disappointed from outdated photos before, but you don’t have to worry about that here! Our entire group was amazed upon arrival and enjoyed everything the property had to offer. We had kids of all ages and there were activities to keep everyone busy. The owner is very responsive when I had any questions or needed anything. The amenities are a huge plus. Everything you need from toiletries, play pens, highchairs, is available and well thought out. We visit San Diego every year and hope to come back and stay here again.

Fantastic stay!

Our group had an amazing time! The house was immaculate, well stocked , every detail thought of. The outside area was what actually made us decide on this property and it was even more amazing in person. So well cared for and such a variety of activities! We may or may not be on the lower property in our 5th wheel (with a private entrance and parking) or at our near by second family home. But are available for any needs or questions you might have. :)

We chose this property location 26 years ago to raise our family in the Mt. Helix area and enjoy the beaches, mountains and more importantly family!

What makes this property unique

Our outdoor entertaining area is a must for large family gatherings, corporate events or a romantic get-a-way. Enjoy the beautiful sunrises, brunch by the pool, and a hot soak in the spa. Our property is located in the unincorporated County of Mt. Helix. Known as Fuerte Hills. We are 18 min to Downtown San Diego, 24 min to the San Diego Zoo, 30 min to the Aquatica San Diego, 27 min to Mission Beach/Belmont Park, roller coaster, shopping, dining beach front, 14 min to Downtown La Mesa for dining, shopping, and night life, 25 min to Sea World, 24 min to the Marina, 26 min to Seaport Village, Water front shopping and dining, a great place to walk around or ride bikes. 3 hours to Big Bear Lake and Ski Resorts.
