About Jeannine

We live in Grand Haven in the summer and always meet all the renters that stay in our condo. We love this beach and town, the combination can't be beat! We travel a bit and always compare our beach and Grand Haven always wins! Good Morning America had it right! We always meet our renters at the condo and if they are new to the area give them tips on things to do if they decide relaxing on the beach is not enough!

Jeannine purchased this condo in 2000

Why Jeannine chose West Central

We love the town of Grand Haven with the beautiful beach, boardwalk to the pier and the unique small town atmosphere that still has good restaurants and shops. This condo had such a 'big city' feel with the brick walls and wooden floor but in my favorite 'small town' with lots of good entertainment and relaxation

Great place to stay in Grand Haven!

Terrific loft condo in the heart of Grand Haven. Walking distance to great shops, restaurants and waterfront. Condo very clean and nicely furnished. Great working with Jeannine and Francine for our last minute plans. Highly recommend.

Perfectly located near all things Grand Haven, especially downtown. Cozy!

  • 5 of 5

Superbly suited to our anniversary getaway, the modern condo is harmonized with its historic building. It is well appointed, decorated, and supplied with linens, full kitchen, candles for romance, large shower (unpictured and noteworthy). It's eastern facing second story deck provides access to morning sunshine. The location is only steps to the boardwalk along the canal leading to Lake MI. Situated next to downtown restaurants, sites, and attractions--easy walking distance. Rooftop view of Musical Fountain was really nice with a glass of wine--no traffic or crowd to negotiate!

We watched favorite DVD movies on the nice sized TV while snuggling on the comfy couch. Went for long walks along the shoreline and boardwalk. We enjoyed Lucy's Deli (2 blocks) for a terrific and tasty breakfast or lunch that both locals and tourists frequent and Grimaldi's for fine chocolate (a few more blocks). Rosy Mound (10 minute drive), a hike through the forest to the lakeshore, was well worth the effort; what a sight over the dunes to the water!

With plenty to see and do, our three night stay seemed all too short. We would love to return to GH someday and would seek out this particular VRBO offering when we do. Thank you, Rizzos, for providing such lovely accommodations!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Traveled to Michigan to go to the Tulip Festival in Holland, but wanted to stay somewhere near the water. Found this lovely little condo in Grand Haven and it turned out to be a great choice. Loved the "loft" style condo with its wood beams and exposed brick. It was clean, cozy and well stocked. The location was great, right in the heart of town and directly across the street from the boardwalk, which was perfect for strolling down to the beach, pier and lighthouse. It was also directly across the street from the evening lighted fountain show, which was really cute. Jeanine was so easy to work with and went out of her way to meet our needs and make sure we had a pleasant stay. Would highly recommend this condo. Definitely plan to return, next time in the summer when we can enjoy the beach and take advantage of the area hiking.

We could not have asked for a better place to spend our honeymoon! The location was perfect. We walked just about every where. Also, the rooftop view of the Musical Founcation can't be beat! The condo was very clean and the amenities were great!

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

We were in town for a wedding over the weekend and loved our stay at this condo! It has everything you need and more, whether you're staying for the weekend or long term. It is convenient to the downtown area where there were plenty of bars and restaurants. I hope we get a chance to stay at this cute condo again!

Husband and I loved it!

  • 5 of 5

My family is originally from the Grand Haven area, but we have lived down south for many years. What a wonderful place to stay and visit my hometown! The condo is right on Washington Ave (such a fun street), and we loved walking the boardwalk every night to the pier. Perfect location, and great price! Short walk to the park, library, and trolley pick up. We enjoy cooking and were pleasantly surprised to find a stocked kitchen. The condo itself was absolutely charming; she even had flowers out which was perfect. Husband can't wait to come back.
