Extended family weekend
Myself, my husband, and two kids stayed at the house. We had a great time and the house got the job done. However,
1. We were given the wrong address initially, and the wrong instructions to enter into the house. Neither home has a house number on it and we were able to figure out where we were supposed to be from pictures of the inside and peeping inside. We tried contacting the homeowner, but she never replied until later to tell us we were at the wrong home at 1130 pm. I then tried calling her and she would not answer. My children were in bed and the pictures all matched and I paid for the home we were in. She got mixed up, but she did not clarify this with me until the next morning!
2. The home offers internet, but she does not know the password. She tried to get me to do work for her by asking me to return to the house from where I was at to search the monitor. We were on the lake by this time. I was supposed to do some work, but I was able to do it later off of my own hot spot. So, there is no internet access.
3. We arrived at the house when it was 100 degrees outside. She doesn’t keep the air on at all and it took a whole night to cool the house down to 72. It was 96 in the house when we arrived.
4. The listing states that it is only 2 beds or one bed. There are 3 beds and 500 couches, 2 baths, and 120 rugs.
Overall, the communication is terrible. She prefers to blame it on her property management, but it is very obvious she is the property manager.
