Beautiful Villa
I have stayed in the area before but brought my entire family this time. This was the perfect spot for my family of 10, ages 3-70. The private pool and private access to the beach made it uniquely special, the staff was so accommodating, the space was everything we needed. We will return and be sure to recommend it to friends :) thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us!!

Nice place
Had a greater time staying here. We were on an elk hunt and it made such a comfortable place to come back to and relax. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Great place. You do need to climb stairs. The hosts even fixed us supper one night! Do recommend.

I am a realtor and property manager with a background of owning a very successful visionary art gallery, so you will find the lodge adorned with amazing artwork. I am originally from London but have lived in New Mexico for more than 22 years. We discovered Chama and fell in love with it's natural beauty and friendly people. I have been a suerhost for more than five years and try to make sure our guests have evrything they need and more.

Why they chose this property

This is a very special property being only 2 mns from town and yet it feels like to country.
It sits at the base of Rabbit Peak and the Edward Sergeant Wildlife. Rio Chamita runs through the edge of the property and there is a fire pit next to a pond where you will often see wildlife especially deer....
If you like watching the beautiful New Mexico skies you can grill outside under the pagoda.
We love animals especially dogs. You are welcome to bring your dog (s) and we have a large enclosure for dogs should you need to use it.
A soak in our hot tub has spectacular views outside.
Please note that this large suite is upstairs.
.

What makes this property unique

Very close to town (10mn walk) but very quiet and secluded in a beautiful setting facing Rabbit Peak. Most accomodation downtown can be noisy especially if very near the railway! It is wonderful to listen to the hoot of the scenic steamtrain in the distance!
(It's a two minute drive to the train)
We have a glass studio to the rear of the property should you wish to watch glassblowing as well as a faery studio where you can purchase beautiful handmade faeries as well as Sean's hand made glass.
We are 420 friendly.
