About Doug Hausladen
I manage two condos on behalf of my parents, whom have retired and moved on to better things to do with their time.
Doug Hausladen purchased this Condo in 2003
Why Doug Hausladen chose Siesta Key
Siesta Key is a family friendly place that has something for everyone. Sarasota has many cultural venues and the beach is unique in that it is made out of quartz. The Palm Bay Club has the most amenities of any property on the Key. My parents bought there because of all the golf nearby and because of the magic of the large beach.

Where do I begin? This was to be a celebration of retirement for hubby and me which was put on hold in 2017 due to my diagnosis of breast cancer. So May 2018 we were so looking forward to Siesta Key! First off, we have no problem with Palm Bay Club. The problem was the private owner we booked from. We felt deceived. Be aware the bookings here, as well as other resorts in the area, there are condo located directly on the beach, or where we stayed, across the street, 1/2 mile from the beach, and you had to cross very, very, busy Midnight Pass Rd. Yes, "beach access ", but traffic was horrific! We were not told this. After parking our car we hunted for an office. We were informed by other people in our condo area, it's across the street. Yes, there is a yellow flashing light/crosswalk, if cars feel like stopping for you! We were informed by the office that we may park on this side of the street for the beach access, but only in parking spaces that don't have a reserved space. We did take advantage of that, but be aware there are no public restrooms on the beach. So for little kids, and older people who have to to use the bathroom, good luck! Either drive or walk back to condo in your wet bathing suit or.....! Yes we had access to the intercostal waterway which is pictured in the advertising. That view again was deceiving. If you hung over the railing from the 3 Rd floor patio, you then saw that view. When we walked into the condo, our view was of the people directly across from us in the other condo building, which was separated by a beautiful courtyard. Half of the vertical blinds in the living room were missing, so no real privacy at night if you have the lights on. The rest of the condo was nice, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, nic e kitchen and small dining room. We had great access to the pool and hot tub, very nice, and hubby fished off the pier across from hot tub and pool area. Was pretty. The courtyard was beautifully landscaped and well cared for with even an outdoor restroom for men and women and drinking fountain near the pool. That was greatly In appreciated. The beach was clean, except for seaweed in the water that tangled up around your legs. Beach chairs were available to you. We were here first week in May. I hate to see what traffic is like at peak season on Midnight Pass Dr. in front of condo. Read carefully, call for more info. We paid a lot
of $$ to stay here. Should be better beach access & view
Very clean and condo was very functional for my family of 5!
The pool on the bay was very relaxing after long days on the most beautiful beach ever! This will NOT be our last time visiting the area and will not hesitate to book this same room! Thanks for a wonderful week!
Condo was clean and convenient to the gorgeous pool on the water and a short walk to the beach. Had a great time! Would have loved some dish soap for the kitchen and maybe a roll of paper towels.
Thank you for telling us about your stay. We appreciate it! Glad to have you back next time. Wishing you and yours safe travels,
The Hausladen Family
We enjoyed our stay in your condo at Palm Bay Club so much! Wonderful location near the bayside pool, where we spent most of our time! Enjoyed watching boats go by and seeing the dolphins. The condo was nicely equipped with everything we needed including beach towels which was greatly appreciated! Wonderful view from the balcony. Hope to return!
Yay! So fantastic! Thank you for telling us about your stay. So glad to hear you had a great time. We’ll always be glad to have you back. Wishing you and yours safe travels,

Siesta Keys 2018
We really enjoyed our stay in Siesta Keys. The condo was well equipped. However, there were a few minor issues that I will forward in an e-mail to the owner regarding window treatments and what appeared to be sewer odor in the guest bedroom/bathroom. The location was great and the view of the bay from the balcony was beautiful! I am looking at the exact view pictured as I compose this. Thank you Doug for sharing your condo with us.
Yes, we did receive the email and have already started the “honey-doo list”!!!! We’ll be working on those items soon enough! Thank you for telling us about your stay, we do appreciate it. We hope to have you back next time you’re in the area. Safe Travels, The Hausladen Family
Love, love, love it here!
This was our second time staying in this unit. It's perfect for 4, but we put 2 more on the pullout for one night. We love being on the bayside. The hot tub is the place to be in tbe evenings after enjoying sunset at the beach. We can't wait to come back!
Thank you for letting us know about your stay, we truely appreciate it! Glad to have you back again, anytime! Wishing you and yours safe travels. Thanks again, the Hausladen Family
