Welcome to our Timbernest Condo and its convenient location to the ski area and town. The unit is a third (top) floor walk-up, bright corner unit located on the mountain side of the complex. You will appreciate the warm atmosphere of the unit. The condo is one of the best options available for combining mountain and town access at a reasonable price. We are conveniently located on the first street to the south (just 200 yards distance) of the Peak 9 hi-speed Quicksilver lift. The street is residential with local traffic only. It is an easy 5 minute walk to the lift, Maggie Lodge, adult and children ski schools, a skier's day nursery, and town Main Street. So park your car and enjoy Breckenridge for a fraction of the price of the Marriott and Hyatt properties located on the same block.

Historic Main Street, ice skating, the best restaurants in town are all within walking distance. Four large hot tubs and outdoor heated pool are available for your use. The unit also contains a whirlpool bath that feels like a million dollars after a hard day of skiing, climbing, or just shopping.

This cozy, reasonably priced condo is ideal for one or two families or three couples. We have extensively refurbished the unit for our family to enjoy with new bathrooms, woodwork, furniture, beds, flat screen TV, wireless internet, CD and DVD player, dishes,etc. The unit is fully furnished and equiped for you to have an enjoyable stay. We are happy to share 'our place' with you when we cannot be there.

Sleeping accomodations are as follows:

++ Main floor bedroom with one queen bed.

++ Upstairs family suite with one queen in the bedroom and the loft with TV and DVD/VCR, a bunk bed setup with lower double bed, and upper single bunk, plus single trundel. Great for two adult couples or family with up to four children.

++ Living room couch that opens into a comfortable queen bed, if needed. (New springless mechanism with no sagging springs and bar across your back.)

Enjoy historic Breckenridge and the most popular ski complex in Colorado right at your front door in the winter. Escape the heat of the plains and lowlands in the summer to enjoy hiking, mountain biking, white water rafting, hot air ballooning, kayaking, horseback riding, jeep tours of gold rush ghost towns, camping, the alpine slide, and above all, sunshine, blue skies, and the cool nights at 9600 feet.

About Andrew Counts

The Counts family has been skiing in Breckenridge for three generations. We first visited in 1973 when there was only two paved streets - Main Street and Ski Hill Road. There were no stop lights in Summit County and Peak 9 had just opened so you could ski directly to town. We have watched the ski area, town and county grow as our family has grown. Yes it has changed, but so have we, and the excitement of arriving in the mountains, a new snow fall, or a bright, crisp summer day is just as invigorating as the first day we set foot in town. We are pleased to share our mountain home with you when we cannot be there.

Perfect for our family vacation

We have 4 kids ages 4-9 and this condo was PERFeCT for us. The kids claimed the loft area and the condo had kid appropriate movies and games. The kitchen was very well stocked, even with flour, sugar, rice and a cabinet FULL of any spice you would need. The pool towels were adult size, which my husband very much appreciated. Beds were very comfortable, with extra blankets in the closet for chilly nights and the makeshift bed we had to make when the 4 year old wanted to be down with mom and dad. There is a

Fabulous trail Right across the street from the condo. We were able to walk into

Town and to Carter park which was nice with all the Independence Day traffic. Looking forward to trying out the condo during ski season next time!! Thank you for sharing your home with us, we had a fabulous vacation (even with the Peak 2 forest fire)

Great location, great condo

This is a beautiful, clean, well furnished, comfortable condo with a great kitchen. We like to eat in and really enjoyed having a kitchen with all the equipment you might need - all good quality too. Bed linens and towels also good quality along with extra towels for the pool and hot tubs that are just across the parking lot. Easy walk to Quicksilver lift and very near all the shopping and restaurants. The owners have thought of everything, including the member card for City Market at the end of town so you can get all the deals. We would walk down to shop and take the bus back. We liked Meta Yoga very much too, lots of classes to choose from and good teachers in a great location with mountain views. Easy to stay in Breck without a car as all the buses are free and are frequent too. The building is well looked after and was very quiet. We had one minor issue that was taken care of within the hour. We had a great trip and would return again.

As advertised cozy and a good place to stay while skiing

Overall amenities were great and as advertised. Hot tubs and pool area was nice. We walked downtown every night, not far at all and bus stop is right at the end of the street. Overall a great stay and would stay again.

Great location to ski lifts and town

Three of us stayed at this location (two adults, one child) for a few days of skiing. The location is very close to peak 9 lifts and easy walk to town. Accommodation wise, the unit was great. We booked here because friends have stayed in the A building two other times and we liked what we saw.

We did have some trouble with the renters in the unit below us. It was a group of young men, likely on college break and extremely loud. Some evenings this went on until 3-4am and involved firecrackers, beer cans tossed on our deck and wrestling in the stair ways . They must not need much sleep either, as they were up at 6:30am and very loud again while getting ready for a day on the slopes. At one point, I tried to find the management company number to see about moving to a different unit/building but was unable to locate it (might be a good thing to include contact info in the units). Another challenge was parking. There was a lot of snow during our week stay. Unfortunately the parking lot was never plowed which made parking very difficult. Many cars were stuck (we helped push out three cars one day) so eventually cars just parked in the middle of the lot making it near impossible for others to get out.

Can't fault the unit owner for the renter noise below us. But the parking situation could be better handled with snow cleared more timely.

Perfect for a family ski vacation

The condo was perfect for our family of 6. It is extremely convenient to get to the Quicksilver Lift. We would cross the street, pick up our boots and skis from Charter Sports in the Marriott each morning, then get on the lift. We came in each day for lunch. The kitchen is well stocked. We cooked dinner 3 out of the 5 nights. You are close enough to Main Street to walk to dinner or shop. Furniture is comfortable and in great condition. The bathrooms are small but very clean. Never ran out of hot water. The owners use quality linens and there were several towels available to take to the community hot tub, which is directly behind the building. The rooms upstairs are both open. One is a true loft and the other is open to the stairs; there is a door separating the two rooms. Not a lot of privacy, but was fine for our kids. Owners are quick to respond to questions. Great price. Very Clean. Convenient to slopes and town. We would definitely stay at this condo again.
