Poor experience

We have rented this condo two years in a row and will not be renting it again or anything else from Vacasa. Because the home was dirty a year ago, I called this year two weeks ahead of our arrival to ask that it be checked out to make sure it was clean. When we arrived, there was such a horrible smell that we could not even stay inside and opened all the windows and doors, but still the smell remained. We finally figured out that it was rotten garbage in the garbage disposal and in the kitchen sink. It was not fixed until the next day. In the master bedroom, there was a partially used and open soap container in the tub. It made us wonder if the bathroom had even been cleaned. The bottom towel in the stack of towels underneath the sink was wet as if there’s some kind of a slow leak in the bathroom. Vacasa does not provide any more than one dishwashing soap pod. We rented this for a week and had to buy our own. There were only two hand towels in the bathrooms, and no kitchen towels. The windows were dirty with spiderwebs and all types of debris. The filter on the refrigerator needed to be replaced and we filed a ticket with Vacasa and we’re told that it would be replaced within a day or two. The whole week went by and we never heard from anyone about replacing it. It is a quiet environment with nice lawns.

Incredible stay!

This is an incredible condo in Lake Junaluska. It is very quiet, and all amenities that we needed were already there. Such a jewel!

It was….OK

I have stayed in VRBOs of all shapes and sizes and while this is a nice large condo it was dirty and really needs some updating. The furniture is sort of a “Big Lots” free for all and while that is no biggie the bathrooms had mold on the faucets and the shower curtains. There was also a large stain in my daughter’s bed that we had to deal with. Also the base boards in the bathroom were dirty and there was a lot of hair in the master bathroom floor. I don’t expect a five star stay but do expect clean when I spend good money for a place to stay for several days. Be better Vacasa. It wouldn’t take much. The location was awesome and we still had a tremendous time as we love to ski! Just want anyone to be forewarned. Hoping it will get better!

Nice roomy condo

The condo was nice, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was nice as well. Very peaceful. We sat out on the porch to listen to the frogs in the pond. The only negative I really have is that there were us nothing in the kitchen to help with cooking Such as salt or pepper. So be aware you have to bring your own.

Very comfortable condo

We were there for a quilting retreat so we were indoors most of the time. It was very comfortable with a large living room/dining room. The laundry closet is completely stocked as well as the kitchen. The view of the little lake is delightful with geese and ducks visiting all day. Restaurants and the big lake are very close by and Waynesville and Maggey Valley are just a short drive. If you're looking for "fancy" this isn't it but everything else is great for a getaway.
