The views are magnificent from almost every room upstairs. It was very windy while we were there, so there was little beach time and the views made all the difference. Staff (Stace and Amanda) were great and check in was easy and we were fully aware of the driveway entrance before we arrived, so that was all good. The ambience was great and the beds were comfortable. We had hoped for a better game room - especially because we really couldn’t go to the beach. Game room was in the garage and ping pong was only playable with the garage door closed to avoid balls getting lost down the driveway - which was kind of claustrophobic. Overall, we had a great time and would rent Whale Watch again.

The view is spectacular. The house is clean and comfy. The kitchen is nicely outfitted.The only drawback is that the driveway is so steep that it takes a strategic approach not to scrape the car.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house has a beautiful view, although the driveway is very steep and hilly, so be prepared when driving in and out.The house is spacious and comfortably accommodated our group of 10. The garage has a table tennis, which the kids really enjoyed. The kitchen and living area are large enough for everyone to gather comfortably. The bathrooms is dated and could use some updating.The kitchen supplies is good accommodates for large group. The dining chairs are also showing their age and could use replacement, as several were sagging and worn.There were a few maintenance issues that were disappointing, especially considering the price. The refrigerator is quite wore out-the draw don't close properly, the ice maker doesn't work, and one of the freezer drawer rails is broken. I expected a better-quality refrigerator for the nightly rate. The house includes a propane grill, but it's surrounded by dry grass, which raised some safety concerns for us.One of the bedroom doors makes a very loud cracking sound every time it's opened or closed and could use repair. We also noticed pet hair on the two sofa beds downstairs, which made them seem like they hadn't been cleaned thoroughly before our arrival.Overall, the home is spacious, has amazing views, and is great for large groups, but its would benefit from updates, better maintenance, and replacing the worn dining chairs, and more thorough cleaning. Thank you for your feedback. We are avail 24/7 and could have helped you with any issues you encountered. Very sad you did not call us and give us the opportunity to help with these items. This home usually garmners 5 star reviews. The BBQ is on a small deck, The dining room chairs are not that old, we could have oiled the hinges on the doors. Sorry this was not a stellar stay for you, but again, a simple phone call could have alleviated all of the things. This was the 5-Star Review from the guests that stayed right before you. "My family gathered for our matriarch's 80th birthday. The house was spacious and comfortable, the view stunning. There was plenty of room to gather in the living room, cook big meals, play and sleep. The hosting agency were very kind, responsive and helpful before and during our stay.
