We had a fantastic time at this Bodega Bay home. The house was centrally located which was great for us to hop around to different places. The house itself was meticulously put together, newly remodeled and felt like a true retreat.It was the perfect weekend getaway

We loved our stay at the California Dreamer! The home was clean, inviting, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was very well-equipped, and the beds and linens were lovely and comfortable. The rooftop hot tub and ping pong table were big hits! The hosts were helpful and communicative. Overall, we had a truly wonderful stay.

We had the perfect stay. The house has everything you need. Fully stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds. High quality linens. Gorgeous decor. Beautiful property and rooftop. Showers and hot tub were so nice after hiking and being at the beach. Great location for all our favorite spots. We will be back.

The place was great! Beds were comfy, the bathrooms and showers were good, the kitchen was very modern and well stocked. Loved the hot tub on the roof. Watched the sunset twice from the hot tub.

The house is beautiful! The Host was very responsive. Kitchen is very well stocked. Appreciated the electrical setup, a couple of had to do some work and found the WiFi and outlets under the island counter very nice! The house is close to everything.

The Surf Shack is a wonderful Bodega Bay getaway. Well equipped in every way. We particularly appreciated the high quality extras, (towels, sheets, beds, kitchen equipment), really well done.
View from the hot tub! It only got better from with each minute. Truly outstanding.

This home was as great as described and reviewed by others! It’s a newly renovated modern home with great appliances, updated “everything”, great layout, extremely comfortable beds(!), wonderful towels, and centrally located to this area. The kitchen (while we did not cook much), has everything one might need to make meals here, coffee (yay!), The host binder is very informative and helpful. The host was very communicative and available if we needed anything. We didn’t use the hot tub much, but it’s very nice and fantastic opportunity to view sunsets. There is a ping pong table (new condition), and foosball table in the garage. The house is well appointed, comfortable, and well stocked. It’s a lovely home and I would definitely return to it! Highly recommend if you are going to that area.

We loved this property! The house is impressive with all of the luxuries that one would want. The location is perfect and even though it is off highway 1, it is super quiet. We felt so comfortable and extremely happy with our stay. We can’t wait to come back!

My family had a lovely time staying at this beautiful home right in Bodega Bay. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the home was very comfortable. The location is perfect as it’s very close to State parks as well as restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely perfect for our family of five and our dog! The home was comfortable, welcoming, and had plenty of space for everyone. The yard was a huge bonus—the kids and our dog had so much room to run around and play.We especially loved the rooftop and the fireplace in the living room. Both made the house feel extra special and gave us great places to relax together.The location couldn’t have been better. We loved our morning walks down to the marina just across the street, and Spud Point Crab Company is only about a 4-minute drive away—do NOT miss the crab sandwiches! They are THE BEST.A couple of other must-stops while you’re here: pop into the surf shop across the street and grab a Bodega Bay Surf Shack hat, and visit the little pink-and-white taffy shop for the key lime taffy. So good!We had such a wonderful family getaway and would absolutely stay here again. Five stars all around!

Wonderful home

Perfect Get Away

We stayed with our teenage kids to have some family time. The location of this house for active families is perfect. Beds were comfortable and house clean. We also loved the opportunity to bring our well behaved pet with us and stay in an a well kept home.
