We'd like to invite you to our Klassy Kalama Terrace Condo on the island of Maui, Kihei, HI!

Our renovations were recently completed. We know you are going to love the Island of Maui, and you will enjoy staying at our condo.

Our condo is romantic, cozy, quiet and close to the beaches. We are centrally located to all activities and highway connections to all sites on the Island. It is an easy four minute stroll to Cove Park, where surfing and paddle board lessons are given daily. It is the same distance to famous Charley Young Beach where weddings are conducted regularly and you can watch beautiful sunsets. Walk another minute north to Kalama Park to join in festivals, jam sessions of drums and Ukuleles, skate boarding, softball diamonds and a constant volleyball game. A wonderful playground for the little one is there, also. Across from this park is a Foodland grocery store, superb restaurants, sidewalk cafes, a thrift store, and tourist spots bars. Venture five minutes south to the Kamaole Beach I next to Charley Young Beach. The beaches are connected. Get a 'plate' at the 'Da Kitchen' restaurant while riding our bicycles and continue south to explore the famous shops at the Wailea Mall. Golf is available within 15 minutes at numerous fantastic courses. We recently acquired two 7' surfboards which we offer free usage of while you are our guests. That is a savings of $25.00 per day per board! We also have a 12 ft. surf fishing rod and reel with line. Also 7x35 binoculars for whale viewing. You have your ownreserved parking space.

Kalama Terrace is located in beautiful South Maui in the town of Kihei where rain is a rarity almost assuring you of a warm, sunny vacation. The condo has locked gates for added security and a resident manager that is very vigilant. With only a 30 minute drive from Kahului airport, you could be basking on the beach sunning, swimming and just enjoying the tropical setting of Maui within a very short time of arriving on Maui. Since 'our' beach faces the western horizon, you will enjoy some of the most memorable sunsets you will see anywhere.

Our condo has everything that we found necessary for an exciting and adventurous life on Maui. Even a Pack 'n Play for the little one. Island breezes flow through the unit when the door is open and the air conditioner is rarely needed to cool the area. The coordinated living and dining room furniture are accented by the flowing curtains guarding the private Lanai. We also have an oak , full size, futon. Stay connected to home with the high speed WiFI and cable for the flat screen TV. An additional TV is situated for lazy bedroom viewing. The kitchen is fully equipped and not missing anything that we could think of for at home cooking of nutritious meals. We have stainless steel cookware. The bedroom is for lovers only! Custom Levelor curtains block out all night light and reveal the unique 'sky!' Come see for yourself. There are shared washer and dryer facilities at the complex. Come play with all the toys that are provided including our two new Maui Cruiser bicycles and you will have a super vacation in Maui. Unfortunately, we cannot supply enough time!

About Gerald & Meredith Johnson

Jerry is a retired Marine Pilot and Physics high school teacher. Meredith is a retired accountant. Together we work on "Sonny Acres" our cattle and goat farm, and try to keep up with our vineyard. We recently renovated our new ocean front condo in Molokai. We enjoy our children, their spouses and our twelve grandchildren every chance we get!

We had visited Maui for three years and finally were fortunate enough to buy this condo. We completely renovated it and fell in love with it and the complex. We just hope that your stay here is as wonderful as ours is every year!

What makes this condo unique

We are impressed with the cleanliness of the complex, its flora, unique swimming pool, and how quiet and peaceful it is in the condo. The location is easy access to all points of interest. We have very friendly neighbors! In the evenings we stroll down to the beach to watch the beautiful Maui sunset every chance we get.

You will have four sets of snorkel gear, free usage of a 7' surfboard, which is a value of $25.00 per day, per surfboard. 12 ft surf fishing road and reel with line. Several boogey boards, two small boogey boards, six beach mats, frisbee, medium hard-sided cooler, small cooler, soft cooler, five sand chairs, two beach towels, a beach umbrella, sets of sandbox toys, two tennis rackets and balls. 32 inch flat screen tv with cable TV channels, Wi-FI capability, DVD player, a 'pack 'n play' for your little one, terry cloth robe, inflatable queen size bed and blower, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, a safe for your valuables and a Date Palm tree on the Lanai, that would appreciate water as well as a Ti Plant! New AC provided.

What a great location and place to stay!

We loved staying here. We felt comfortable and had everything necessary to make our vacation a hit. The little guestbook was fun to read in the evenings to see what others had enjoyed in the area. The location could not have been better - we walked to Charley Young beach and found it was among the best beaches to start the day. Definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect honeymoon!!

The location of the condo couldn't be any more perfect. You're close to multiple beaches, great restaurants, grocery and shopping centers if you need anything. All the beach toys came in handy for beach days. Can't wait to come back again!!

Great place great location and great beach gear

We were staying here with our 7 m/o boy, it was great! The pool is awesome and the apartment was equipped with everything we needed for the beach and home. beach is very close and there is a huge detailed guide book made by the owner- thank you it was very helpful. Highly recommend!!

Location and condo were good

This condo was located close to the beach, and had some great amenities. Having snorkel gear, goggles, chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, and mats were great. Unfortunately, only one of the cruiser bicycles was in good condition. The other had a blown tube and the tire would not inflate.

The condo is off the main road, but we still had a moderate amount of traffic noise, and noise from other condos. Maybe we stayed during some kind of party week, as we constantly heard people walking down the road being extremely loud and yelling. The complex has designated quiet hours that were enforced. We appreciated that. Leading up to the quiet hours though, it was very loud from people at the pool, to people BBQ-ing and other random condo guests.

The condo itself was clean and adequately stocked with cook ware, silverware, and other basics. There was a big binder with lots of info about the condo and things to do, and it was very useful. There is also a guestbook that other guests have written in, and it has some good tips as well.

Overall, the condo was good, and somewhere I may stay again. The negatives are mainly just related to noise. There was local traffic noise up and down the road in addition to the noise from other guests.

Great condo with so many amenities

We love staying in Klassy Kalama. This was our third visit to the condo and our hosts were so accommodating as our flight arrived early. Thank you to Jerry and Meredith for the queen size inflatable air mattress as our boys like to have their own mattresses in the living room. We love that previous renters left so many handy things in the condo like extra garbage and ziploc bags and plastic containers. The kitchen is fun kitchen to cook in as it has everything you need to make gourmet meals. We think Jerry and Meredith are so generous with what they share in the condo. We loved the new water ball in the condo so much we picked one up at the ABC store to take home with us. Thank you again for the wonderful stay.

Lovely condo, PERFECT location, great hosts!!!

We stayed for six weeks at Jerry and Meredith's condo, and it just kept getting better and better as we fell more in love with their place, Kihei, and Maui. The condo is so comfortable and well equipped with everything you need for the beach and condo - beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc, plus great wifi and cable, well-supplied kitchen, and a lanai where we ate every single meal. The condo is located just a 5 minute walk from what became our favorite beach in Maui - Charley Young Beach. It is sheltered from both the trade winds and big waves, so it is lovely for spending hours on the beach (nearly every sunset!) and in the ocean. It is also quaint, and the people who come to this beach are laid back, as is Kihei. Jerry and Meredith's notebook offered wonderful guidance for touring the island and getting to know Kihei, which we loved. Although we rented a car to tour the island, most of the time we didn't have a car and easily walked 10-15 minutes to the nearest grocery store (Foodland), farmer's market, and our favorite restaurant (Three Bars), which has one of the best happy hours on the island. We can not say enough about Maui, Kihei, and our hosts, who we never met but were always very attentive when we had any questions!!!! After six weeks, we still wanted more!!! But sadly, we had to leave.
