Beautiful Mountain View’s with perfect location.

Are you’re looking for long Range Mountain View’s and a relaxing atmosphere with shopping and wonderful restaurants? Then this is for you! We are 10 min from the towns of Blowing Rock and Boone. Master is on the main level with large flat screen TV, large walk in closet, walk in shower and two sinks. Half bath with laundry is on main with dining table for 6. Comfortable couches and recliner with flat screen and fireplace in the living room. Kitchen has everything you need from blender to Keurig coffee and dishwasher. Upstairs there are 2 more bedrooms ( one has a TV ) with queen beds and full bath. Deck has seating with a BBQ and fire pit. There are only two steps to the front door. The community also has a waterfall you can walk to with a gazebo and picnic table. We allow one well behaved dog under 35 pounds with a surcharge. Larger dogs that are non shedding breeds. Dogs are not allowed on furniture. Please contact me First about pets, supplies, parking etc.

Mountain getaway

The property was exactly what we were hoping for with a great view. Comfortable living room and porch for hanging out and great beds for sleeping. Great location and a very nice host.

Great cabin in convenient location

We enjoyed both the property with its gorgeous view as well as its proximity to dog walking trails and shopping and restaurants in both Blowing Rock and Boone. And the cooler temperatures were such a nice break from SC!

Perfect Mountain Stay

This was a perfect house for a cooler get away to the mountains for the 4th. Clean and well stocked and a wonderful view. A comfortable porch to relax and enjoy the view.

This property was exactly as described online. No surprises. The home is beautifully decorated, beds are very comfortable. Good Wi-Fi and TV. Very clean. It has everything we needed and great for our dog as well. Breathtaking view. Easy quick trip down the mountain to shopping and food. Our hosts were very quick to respond to questions etc,and so nice too. Very quiet and safe neighborhood during our stay. I’m sure we will return.

EPIC View and Waterfall

This is your home away from home- if your home had amazing views of mountains, enchanting waterfalls within a very quick walk, truly comfy beds and all the special extras you didn't know you would need. My family had the best time!

Terrific location between Blowing Rock and Boone and home was better than advertised, many extras and nice appointments. No problems or issues and we had terrific weather to boot.

Great home with awesome views

We stayed at this amazing house over the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was the perfect size for our group, had a very well equipped kitchen, was extremely clean and comfortable, and had great views! The owners were super easy to communicate with as well. We had a great time and would definitely come back! One of the best rentals I’ve stayed in.

Awesome mountain experience

We couldn’t be happier with our stay at Lazy Bear. A beautiful home, was comfortable and relaxing. It’s so much better than the pictures convey. Convenient to Boone and Blowing Rock, only minutes away. But that view, spectacular!

Perfect Vacation Home!

My husband & I had a perfectly delightful stay in this well-appointed & equipped home. Beautiful mountain view from the living room & deck where we spent most of our time enjoying the hummingbirds as well. Spotless with lots of nice extras. Owners are extremely responsive to all contacts. We rate it a 10!

Amazing view!

Lovely 3 bedroom home with open kitchen ,DR and Great room. Two couples enjoyed the home with plenty of space and amazing views . Owner was available and very helpful. Easy drive to Boone and Blowing Rock.

Delightful Stay at "Lazy Bear"

We had an enjoyable stay at "Lazy Bear" for a couple of weeks. The home was as pictured and the owner was so good about getting back to us about any questions we had. We are looking forward to another visit again.

Excellent property. Home shoes top notch construction and hardwood floors are beautiful. Could only suggest 2 improvements: Front entrance steps are to steep for a handicapped person to climb comfortably. TV should be replaced with a larger screen.

Great house -- I agree that it is better in person than in the photos. Beautiful view from the back deck, convenient location to both Boone and Blowing Rock. Nice hosts who responded quickly to any questions. Would definitely stay here again if/when we return to the area.
