A Great Place to Stay

This year was our first time spending a month in Florida so picking a place we’d be happy with was a priority. We definitely felt we succeeded in doing so. We really liked Bradenton for our location as well as this home. It was clean, bright, roomy and very comfortable. Having a lanai was a big plus. In addition, the neighborhood was great… quiet, friendly and a great place to walk yet minutes away from major highways making it easy to get to beaches, restaurants, shopping and hiking. Bottom line, we were very happy with our choice!

Owner is a Watchdog

Unfortunately this rental was the only bad rental through VRBO that I have encountered in the 20 years using your company.Rental HA-Q90DCT (Mai Casa) has the following concerns for me as a renter.*We had to communicate via text to David every time we needed the temperature of the house adjusted since he regulated and guest were unable to. This wasn’t disclosed in the online advertisement for the house.*Cooler outside vs inside so we opened sliding doors to screened in area to cool the house vs contacting David again. He texted he received a notice the door was open and to close. For the entire day the windows, doors and curtains had been shut but, house was uncomfortably hot. We asked to turn down again since we couldn’t have door opened to screened in area.*Water temp in both showers would only get warm so you had to quickly shower due to lack of warmth.*House slept 6 and we had only a towel and wash cloth for each person (no extras so we had to do laundry often to ensure we had clean linen).*Outside temperature dropped in the morning during the later part of our stay in to the 40s and there were no blankets available. Only a sheet and thin bedspread on each bed. Also no extra pillows.*The faucet in the kitchen on our first day to use had a thin metal handle and came off when you touched. It had been glued on prior as there was white glue on the threads. The owner called and we advised it was obvious it had previously been broken prior with a repair that didn’t hol
