Summary:
Happy as a Clam is a brand new 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom luxury townhouse built in 2022 with custom finishes throughout. Pride of ownership throughout this home, and we hope you feel welcome when you stay! Enjoy the reverse floorplan with the kitchen and living room on the top level! Several private patios to enjoy the fresh ocean breeze! Great central location, and you'll love the proximity to the beach! Outdoor shower and you need to do some remote work, there are two desks and fast wifi!

The Space:
Happy as a Clam is a 3 story townhome- please note there are stairs.

All Going Coastal properties include bed linens, bathing towels, paper products, and soaps/shampoos. Please bring your own beach gear, or we can recommend our favorite local vendors for rentals.

Guest Access:
Please enter through the gate (left side of the townhome) Guest access through side door.

Please note that guest will not have access to the garage.

The grill uses propane that each guest is responsible for providing for themselves. The grill is not part of the cleaning fee so please clean it after each use. Thank you.

The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is close to everything with a mix of vacationers and year round residents.

Getting Around:
- Free parking at townhome

-Walk, bike, public parking at beaches and in town

-Bike and golf cart rentals are available on the island- let our Going Coastal team know if you need any recommendations.

-Uber cars and taxi's are also available

- Wilmington Airport and Downtown Wilmington less than 40 mins away.
- Take the ferry to enjoy Southport for the day!

Great place

Wonderful place. We were glad we didn’t bring some family that would have struggled with the stairs but the place was everything we wanted. Really enjoyed it.

Wonderful house

We had a wonderful mid week stay as a last beach trip before school starts. The house had simple decor with plenty of room for the entire family to gather and eat together. The kitchen was well stocked, as well. The only negative was that the previous renters did not wash the dishes very well and several pans/knives needed wash before use. I would not let thus prevent me from renting again. We very much enjoyed our time here.

Happy with Happy As A Clam

Property is in great shape. Enjoyed the location, with a 5 minute walk to the beach. The only issue, and it’s minor, was unlocking the door. We had to press the handle in for door to unlock while using the code. Would definitely stay there on vacation again if the property was available.

Wonderful beach getaway

This was our families first beach trip since moving east from the southwest. We chose Carolina Beach due to its location to Wilmington, Ft Fisher, and Oak Island. This is a quieter area with less night life which is exactly what we were looking for. The home appears to be a new build and is very well appointed with LG appliances and RH furniture. The kitchen was very well equipped with a large number of dishes. We had a small issue while staying and the property manager was quick to act and very helpful to communicate with. We will return to Carolina Beach again and our three kids asked to stay in this EXACT home again. See you in 2024! :)

Great house with flexible rooms!

The house is new and decorated beautifully. Communication from the owners/rental property was brief and easy. Simple to check in and out. Great stay for families with younger kids, as long as they are able to use stairs. You are unable to access the elevator while staying there.
