Enjoy comfort and lovingly decorated interiors, wrap-around deck, expansive stone patio with fire pit, small beach, 8 kayaks & gear in areas most prime kayaking waters, plus only a 2 minute walk to the downtown shops, restaurants, theater, museum - along w/ many Deer Isle, Blue Hill, Castine, Bar Harbor attractions nearby.

Harbor Heights is one of the few homes right on Stonington Harbor, and close to the plethora of small nearby islands just a short kayak trip away - plus just a 2 minute walk to all the downtown attractions.

Originally from Maine, I met my husband in the USAF while serving in England. Later, after starting a family, we purchased this home to be near family in Maine. We enjoy working on the home and grounds, spending time with friends and neighbors, kayaking the amazing nearby waters, and enjoying the incredible beauty out our windows.

Why they chose this property

Our family has lived and worked near this area for generations, so it was a special honor to acquire this home in the late 90s. With our then small children we renovated the home, and have spent treasured time there ever since. When not using it ourselves, it is a treat to share with others to enjoy the many things we so love about this home and community.

What makes this property unique

This home is right on the harbor, and only a few minutes walk to downtown. This is the best location for kayaking out to the nearby islands. We have many return guests...so I guess they like it as much as we do!
