Experience the charm of Cabin 17, a quaint 2-story A-Frame nestled at the Ponderosa Lodge in Glenwood Springs, CO. Located just 3–5 minutes from downtown, this cozy retreat sleeps up to 4 guests and features a distinctive spiral staircase connecting the two levels.
Main Level: Living: Relax on a comfortable Queen sofa-sleeper and watch TV. Kitchen: Fully stocked for 4 guests with a full-size stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, and a coffee station (coffee, creamer, sugar, tea, spices). All cooking utensils, pots, pans, and dishes are provided. Bath: Full bathroom with walk-in shower. Outdoor: Enjoy a small cement patio accessible through sliding glass doors.
Upstairs Loft: Sleeping: A Queen-sized mattress rests on the floor (no bed frame) under the gabled roof. Amenities: Second TV, small private patio, and a half-bathroom. Access: Accessed via a narrow, steep spiral staircase.
Important Safety & Comfort Notes: Not Recommended for: Children under 5, very tall individuals, or anyone with mobility issues. The spiral staircase is narrow and steep, and the upstairs ceiling clearance is low due to the A-frame design.

Lovely little spot for our family to enjoy the mountains! We're more stay-in folks so the kitchen was a nice alternative & our daughter enjoyed the chance to build a fire in the firepit!
We loved the quaint little cottage. It was a little smaller than we’re used to, but it worked for our purposes. We loved the car garage. It kept our car windows from collecting snow/ice.
The cabin was perfect for my family and our needs. We were in Glenwood Springs for the weekend to visit my granddaughter who attends CMC. We planned to eat our meals out and spend the evening at Iron Mountain Springs, so we knew we wouldn’t be spending a lot of time in the cabin or need a ton of space. It was great to have two bathrooms, separate sleeping areas, and we enjoyed coffee in the morning before picking up my granddaughter for breakfast. We, of course, enjoyed the beautiful mountains views. We would definitely return.
