Condo, 1 Bedroom + Sleeping Porch, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4)
Imagine sitting on this lanai and seeing the ocean waves in the distance. K3 is a one bedroom, two story condo. Down stairs has living room, a totally remodel kitchen and large screened in lanai. Lanai has a queen size bed for sleeping and capturing the breeze at nights along with a table for eating. The master bedroom is located on second floor. There are bathrooms on each floor each one has a tub/shower. Nicely furnished inside with tropical decor. Upstairs has a washer and dryer. The complex has a nice tiled pool and BBQ on property and condo has wifi internet, Flat screen TV and a blue ray wifi DVD player. Comfortably sleeps 4 guests in two queen size beds.
Paniolo Hale is located on Molokai's West end and on the ocean. There is Kepuhi Beach right in front and it is great for surfing in the winter months and perfect for swimming/snorkeling in the summer months. Just a short walk over the old golf course is the Papohaku Beach to the longest white sand beach in the state of Hawaii. Very rough in the winter months and cannot swim, but awesome to watch the waves break in and in the summer months great for long ocean swims and shell finding. A short walk to the left brings you to Make Horse with lots of little tide pools for taking a cold tub or letting the little ones catch the little fish. There is a nice beach hike can be done from Paniolo Hale to the northern point.
West side is about 5 minutes to Maunaloa town where there is a small market open daily to 5PM. 15 minutes is to the airport. 20 minutes take a Cook House with indoor and outdoor seating, the coffee Plantation, Coffees of Hawaii which has a coffee bar and Wi-Fi and a gift shop, along with some other shops.
Kaunakakai Town is about 30 minutes and that is where most of the groceries, art shops, gift stores, mini markets, restaurants, equipment rentals and our county offices. The east end of Molokai with other great little beaches, a playground for the little ones and a small market with takeout foods is a good hour drive. There are many things to see and do on Molokai but most are all outdoors. If you like to paddle rent a kayak or Stand up board and paddle over our barrier reef. Molokai is about entertaining yourselves, although Hotel Molokai on a Friday Night is entertaining itself! Come see, Come Stay!

Super close to beach with view of water
We loved the proximity to the beach. The waves were too high all week to swim here which is common during Feb. The sunsets here are amazing! People bring their chairs to the beach to watch the sunset. The beach here is also a resting ground for the rare Monk seals and we loved sitting just watching them snooze. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and spices. The 2nd bedroom is really on the lanai (veranda). It is nicely enclosed in a screen porch and my grown daughter loved it. There is a vinyl screen that can be pulled down in event of rain or wind. The only downside here was that the unit could have been cleaner ...lizard poop and dust and dirt under all the furniture. But the kitchen was spotless so that was important. Also the screens arent tight in the windows and doors so lizards and cockroaches were always trying to hang out with us. We would have rated it 5 stars if it werent for the cleaning and cockroaches.
We work directly with Alamo for great deals on car rental while on Molokai or anywhere in Hawaii. We also work with GO! Mokulele Airlines for discounted interisland air travel.
