Venga a disfrutar de este lujoso albergue en el lago Santeetlah con más de 90 millas de costa enclavadas en el bosque nacional protegido de Nantahala. Nada en tu muelle privado, practica esquí acuático o pesca truchas y lubinas, monta a caballo, explora los senderos cercanos de las montañas Smokey, el parque Joyce Kilmer o el sendero de los Apalaches. Esta casa remota ofrece fabulosas vistas al lago desde casi todas las habitaciones, una cocina gourmet para comer, 2 dormitorios principales, 2 habitaciones, 2 salas de estar grandes, 3 chimeneas, 3 terrazas exteriores de madera, una sala de sol / oficina y una sala de biblioteca.

Cada temporada en las Montañas Smokey es hermosa, serena y el Lago Santeetlah sigue siendo prístino y poco concurrido. Barco, kayak, moto acuática o campamento en el lago rodeado de las maravillosas montañas. La cercana Tail of the Dragon-311 gira en 11 millas con vistas abiertas- es el paraíso para los entusiastas de la motocicleta y los clubes de autos. Terrific View, the home needs some attention, upper level toilet would not shut off when flushed, had to lift the tank lid and giggle the float. The oven display on the stove was hard to read especially the temperature for baking, the coffee maker was old and missing some parts. Some lights and switches did not work.

Overall, the view from the house of the lake and the mountains was amazing. It was quite lovely to be able to sit on the deck with your morning coffee and enjoy the quiet peacefulness of that view. However, the house itself could use some updating and intensive cleaning/pressure washing. Also, it would have been beneficial to have some kind of area information to inform us of restaurants, shopping, hiking, water recreation available in the area. We loved that there was a dock to use to swim in the lake with the kids each day, but it really would have been nice to have some kayaks or canoes that came with the house. If the house had come with area information, we might have also known to reserve kayaks/canoes several days in advance from the local marina as when we figured out where to rent from, they had extremely limited availability. I just felt like you were here for the outside experience and what was available with the house in that regard just seemed lacking if you want your guests to really be able to experience the NC lake vacation. There were alot of bugs and cobwebs all around the property; both inside (bottom floor) and out. My daughter-in-law was stung by a wasp while in bed in the top floor bedroom. The deck itself just needed some overall repair work as wood was not in the best shape and we had to make sure everyone going out was wearing shoes to avoid any splinters or other injuries. There were some complaints about the beds on the lower level being pretty mu

Motorcycle Trip

Perfect Lake Vacation

This is our second year staying at this property. The views are absolutely the best and the house is huge. There is plenty of space inside and out for a large family. The deck down by the water was my favorite spot (when I wasn't in the water). The upstairs bathroom and the basement bathroom also had some updates which was a nice surprise. Lake Santeetlah continues to be our favorite vacation spot!

Clean. Great communication & location.

We had great time on the lake (3 families). Great property, outstanding lake views, and communication is superb. Any issues was resolved in no time. Thank you Raul for all your help and for allowing to stay in your great house. Internet/WiFi is super slow and unusable for media and video calls, but you can survive on 5G/LTE with 3-4 bars (T-Mobile).

Great place to stay

As always, we enjoyed our stay, been staying there for 6 years now. The views and the sunsets are well worth it. It is close enough to town but yet far enough out that you don't notice it. We had no issues this time. In times past if there were any problems they were addressed and fixed quickly. The owner has always been quick to respond to any questions asked.

Great place to stay

This is the 5th year we have booked this house for our family summer vacation. The location is great, nit far from town. If you wanted to ride the tail of the dragon you are not far from that either. The view of the lake and surrounding mountains is perfect. The owners are great and easy to work with. We have experienced minor issues during our stays, nothing that caused us any distress. Send the owners a message and get either a call back or email reply or both very shortly. They are quick to get anything fixed that needs fixing. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Absolutely beautiful home on fabulous Lake Santeetlah. We had a wonderful time just hanging out and using our kayaks. Definitely will want to return next summer!

Perfect!

The views are unreal and the water was perfect. This lake is a 10/10. The side of the lake that you look at is a national forest I believe so it is untouched wilderness. The house was perfect for us. Me, my husband and 4 kids used the basement. There were 2 bedrooms with very comfortable bunk beds, a large living space with deck access and a bathroom. One set of grandparents used the main floor master and the other used the top floor master. Each master had its own sitting room. Then the main floor had a huge living space with sliders leading off to top deck. Kitchen was large and the house has 2 eating areas. The deck by the water is huge and there is a refrigerator down there. Floating dock had tons of space to tie up all of your lake stuff and the water is deep for swimming, diving and all the fun stuff. We had a great time! Hope to rent this house again in the future!!

Fabulous!

This house is located on the lake with some of the best views during a quiet week of fall color. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this beautiful and well-equipped home! It is clean, had so many rooms that there was always a place to get away from others if you wanted. We cooked every night (thank you for the extra fridge in the garage), rented a pontoon, played ping pong and other games. Owner was very responsive to the one issue we had. GREAT STAY!

This is the 4th or 5th year renting this place.

As always the owner is easy to deal with and takes care of any problems if they arise. We had a few issues this year nothing major but they were taken care of quickly. Definitely a great place to stay.

Lake of dreams

Lake of dreams, Lake Santeetlah is my happy place, we have rented many houses over the years on the lake, the best view of the lake ! you don’t see your neighbors and they don’t see you, The house is very charming, accommodating, perfect choice, 100% a five star rental, so much fun for nine days. Thank you, we want to book it next year also, Others have commented on new comfortable outdoor seating, they are correct, and they deep cleaning also they were correct. But that did not stop us and will not stop us from returning to this wonderful home.

One of the main reasons why we chose to buy is because of the national preserve in front of the house. The view that you see will never change; so you have no worries of any other houses destroying your gorgeous outdoors views.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Being right on the lake is very nice and convenient. We park the boat on the dock and its ready to go in the morning no dealing with the dock master. just in the boat and out to enjoy the beautiful lake.
