Twinbrook Cabin Rental Photos and Description

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + Loft, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

This is a beautiful, Non-Smoking, log cabin home on an acre of land, situated on a rushing creek with several waterfalls right outside the door. The lot is wooded and sits at about 4000 feet elevation. It feels very private, yet is only five minutes from the main road.

There is a large covered porch running the length of the cabin overlooking the creek, with a six-person hot tub on one end. In the yard is a picnic table and steps down to the creek. The furniture is plush and comfortable, and with a woodburning fireplace and satellite television, there isn't a more cozy place.

You'll be only fifteen minutes from the quaint town of Maggie Valley, where there are several wonderful restaurants and lots of craft and gift shops, as well as gorgeous mountain views. Going the opposite direction takes you into Cherokee in about ten minutes, with gambling casinos and tourist attractions, or you can take a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway. In 20 minutes you can be on Main Street in Waynesville, with restaurants and shopping galore. Asheville is just 45 minutes away, and Gatlinburg, Tennessee only an hour or so.

But if you are like us, you won't want to leave the cabin! Everyone falls in love with the place. There isn't a greater get-away than the Great Smoky Mountains, and this is the perfect spot to enjoy them!

Private & Peaceful!

  • 4 of 5

It was great arriving at the cabin and seeing all the fall decorations! And the gift basket was definitely a plus! The cabin was just the right size and we enjoyed so much sitting on the porch listening to the creek right below us and looking out to see all the beautiful fall colors!

Great cabin, great location!

  • 5 of 5

My family had a wonderful fall break vacation at this cabin. My teenage boys said it was the best vacation we've ever been on! This cabin is in a great location, everything is just a few minutes drive away. When we weren't out sightseeing and hiking, we were able to enjoy the great amenities this cabin has to offer. We loved everything from the hot tub to the rushing creek on the property. One thing we enjoyed best about this cabin is the sense of privacy it offers. The lot is large and we could not see any other homes from the property. The cabin is very clean and we also very much appreciated the welcome basket with goodies. The cabin was also decorated for fall which instantly made us feel welcomed as soon as we drove up. Those personal touches are what sets this cabin apart from any other we've stayed at.

Amazing creek!

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at this creek side cabin! We were lucky enough to have our 7 month grandson with us! He loved putting his feet in the creek!! We all enjoyed the cool mornings and nights on the covered porch! Would recommend another rocking chair for the porch...I was very concerned about the cabin not having central air...we only had to turn the upstairs window unit on once during a warm day...but didn't have to run it long at would have been perfect if the tv in the living room had been updated to a flat screen and would have loved tv's in the bedrooms....the driveway is a bit tricky coming off of SoCo road...very sharp turn into the driveway...we ended up backing in each time and were pros by the end of the week...once in the driveway, there is plenty of room to turn around to head out...we really enjoyed the hot tub, especially on those cool nights! We did have a little visitor in the cabin, he had a sweet tooth and ate part of a chocolate bar that was not opened yet...we managed to catch him though, so hopefully he doesn't have friends....all and all, it was a great trip! Love the location as we wanted Maggie Valley and Cherokee at our fingertips and we were right between them! I only wish they would top the trees so you could see the amazing view that was popping through the trees, just waiting to be admired. I assume they keep the wooded look to hide SoCo did get a little loud a few times from all the motorcycles, but wasn't a problem at all! There was a motorcycle run that week, and we enjoyed seeing all the bikes....If you get a chance, visit BearMeats store in one of the Curves heading to Cherokee....great handmade things!!! Everyone, and I mean everyone in Maggie Valley are the most friendliest people on earth! That was very refreshing!!! Thanks for sharing your little slice of Heaven with me and my family!

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your comments. We have thought about topping the trees, but, before the privacy and the sound buffer (plus it is extremely expensive to do that). Also, we did try to put TV's in the bedrooms, but, we cannot get any service for the other rooms, only the living room. But, we do have plans to put a flat screen tv there. Thank you again and hope you return soon. The Owners

You will not be disappointed

Stayed at the cabin Christmas week and had a wonderful time. The cabin is very nice with a creek next to it, it is so relaxing to sit in the hot tub and listen to the water. We also had a white Christmas as it snowed that morning. Location is very easy too get to and very quiet. Will be back next year.

A relaxing & pleasant stay!

  • 5 of 5

Had a wonderful girl's weekend at this cabin. Everything was as stated, very clean and neat. The porch was very relaxing with a nice view of the stream. It was nice to have wifi to stay connected. The fireplace and hot tub were both very enjoyable. It was easy to find and close to Maggie Valley and Cherokee. The owner is very pleasant and easy to work with. I hope to make this a yearly event at this cabin.........a special place indeed!
