Douglas Lake stay

Lovely home, well equipped and very comfortable. Great deck with beautiful view of mountains and lake. Great communication with host. Neighbors are very friendly. Would stay there again if ever in the area.

Awesome Lake House in quiet neighborhood

Great home for an east Tennessee get away. Went to Knoxville for the day and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and sitting on the front and back porch. Large open kitchen with bar stools. Loved being able to step right out of the bedrooms onto the back deck. Also close to the Swanns Marina, may come back and rent a boat next time. Highly recommended.

Piece of Heaven

We stayed in this property for the Christmas and New Years 2023, my family loved the idea of staying in a property next to the lake (unfortunately the city drained all water during fall/winter). Mornings and nights are very pleasant in this place because you see clear skies and beautiful sunrises... Something that needs to be addressed to the renters is that the water running in the house comes from a well and needs to run all faucets for 10 mins to get rid out of the smell also a lots of spider webs in ceiling corners other than that we had the best experience in this place.... the closest grocery shop is 20 mins away, big grocery shop (WM) is 25 mins away, gas station 5 mins, Gatlinburg 35 mins, Pigeon Forge 35 - 45 mins depending on traffic... Thanks to our host for the fast communication and welcoming !!!! We definitely reccomend this property and we are planning to come back this year 2024!!!
