Location: Maggie Valley is surrounded by beautiful mountain ranges and stunning natural scenery, and if you are an outdoor enthusiasts you will love it. We are surrounded by the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Cherokee Indian Reservation.
Culture: Maggie Valley has a rich cultural history and is known for its music, arts, and crafts. You will enjoy local festivals and events that showcase the area's heritage, including the Hillbilly Jam, Maggie Valley Fall Arts and Crafts Festival, and the Smoky Mountain Elk Fest.
Skiing: Maggie Valley is home to the Cataloochee Ski Area, which offers skiing and snowboarding opportunities during the winter months.

But, if you want to head out and explore you will love this Chalet - the chalet is 5 mins from downtown Maggie Valley dining/shopping along w/ easy access to many activities including: Zip lining, Lake Junaluska, Maggie Valley Country Club and wellness center, The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, several Golf Courses, Harrahs Casino, The Biltmore House etc. Or better yet, you are just 15 minutes away if you want to catch the sunset at Waterrock Knob on the Blue Ridge Parkway, or hike up at Hemphill Bald.
