Cozy beachside studio overlooking Lake Superior sits right on the beach. Simple and charming room with log beams, wood floors and big views. Queen size bed looks out at the sun and moon rises, vanity, private bath with shower and toilet. There's a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Located right downtown Grand Marais, you can walk to all the restaurants for meals. Enjoy a beach fire in the evenings, or stream a movie on the free wi-fi. Basic accommodations, but you'll love the quaint charm and unparalleled location.

Fantastic Location

We loved every minute of our stay in Grand Marais. This property was perfect for my partner and I to unwind and take in the sunrise over the lake. Can't beat the location or views!

Perfect!

The location is perfect…you can walk to shops, restaurants, coffee, bakery and then being right on the beach was amazing! The room is very comfortable with amazing views of the lake! We loved it!

The room was bigger than I expected!!! The bed was super comfortable and the shower was great! Great Lake and sunrise view! Easy walk to so many things and places to eat! Definitely would stay here again! Thank you so much!

Wonderful spot

I’ve rented this unit and the one upstairs many times in the past. I have always loved staying here. Very unique, very beautiful, perfect location.

Great location and views

This is a wonderful place for a couple or single in downtown Grand Marais. It’s block or two from all the shopping in GM. The view is spectacular, looking out over the bay to the east of town. Highly recommended!

Great stay

Super cute little 1 room studio. Right on the beach at Artist Point. Easy walking distance to everything in town. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in GM!

Great location right in town; close to shops, restaurants and hiking, yet minimal traffic noise. Beautiful sunrises. We will definitely be back!

Great getaway spot!

We had an amazing stay, great location, everything in town was pretty much walkable. Woke up to a beautiful sunrise over Lake Superior. Loved it!

Great spot

This charming little studio is right on the beach with views of artist’s point and the sunrise. Despite a tired mattress, I slept well to the sound of waves. Would definitely book again!

A weekend away

My husband and I stayed here to spend some time on the shores of superior taking in the views and spending quality time with each other, it was the perfect place to disconnect from our every day lives, slow down and unwind.

Unbelievable view and location

This was the perfect place to stay in grand marais for the weekend. I’ve been to town a few times and this is by far the best location I’ve stayed and definitely the best view. 10/10 would recommend!

Great place

This place was so convenient to everything in town. Like bed the sunrises from our room!! The only thing was, it would have been nice to have coffee as there was the coffee pot, creamer, sweeteners & filters. We did get some very good coffee to brew from an establishment in town though. We will stay here again!

Beautiful sorroundings

Overall a great place to stay. You couldn’t get closer to the beach. Walking distance to restaurants and the boat landing. We enjoyed the views from our room. We love this town. The room is small, but very clean and we enjoyed the coffee. Be aware that the lower unit can hear all movement, conversation and coughing in the room above.

Wow! Right on the lake, walk out the door to sand. So close to everything. Couldn’t have been any better. Would definitely stay again.

Great place and location

Perfect location right on Superior and walking distance to everything you need in Grand Marais. Old and rustic lodging perfect for two people. The only downside is that you hear the upstairs unit occupants conversation clear as day and the bed is right below the upstairs main living room, so you hear every step made from upstairs.
