Le phare. Un logement abordable et unique surplombant le port.

Le «Phare» est un logement spécial donnant sur la ville et le port de Grand Marais à partir de son centre. Vous êtes en plein cœur de la ville dans un bloc de tout- mais confortablement supprimés lorsque vous avez besoin d'une pause. Vous pouvez vous asseoir dans son lit et voir le port et le grand lac au-delà. Votre propre parking privé mène à l'escalier qui vous emmène vers le phare. La vue sur le vieux port depuis le balcon est magnifique. Il ya une table en fer forgé et des chaises sur le balcon pour se détendre. L'intérieur du phare, vous trouverez un lit queen, douche carrelée et salle de bains, cuisine américaine, table à manger personnalisé pour deux, TV LCD avec TV satalite et blueray. Le lit est fixé à un angle et fait face au sud-est de capturer les vues sur le port dans la matinée grâce à de grandes fenêtres. Un grand nombre de nos clients ont soif de liens avec la nature (avec des feuilles à très grand nombre de fils), de renouer les liens les uns avec les autres et d’avoir l’autorisation de s’arrêter complètement pour un repos profond. Personne n’a dit cela à haute voix, mais nous pensons que c’est leur motivation intrinsèque. Il ya des fenêtres de traverse autour du périmètre de l'appartement de sorte que si vous vous situez dans le centre, vous avez une vue à 360 degrés du ciel. Remarquez comment il change que la journée avance. Observez les différences de couleur autour de coucher de soleil ou tôt le matin, comme le Grand Lac passe à travers ses humeurs. Le plafond est très élevé et est voûté et avec timberframed unique de 'Dragon Beams »des artisans de Timerframe locales. En tête de la phare est une coupole octogonale qui laisse passer la lumière toute la journée et la nuit au clair de lune. Et sur le dessus du Cuppola est un cuivre balle de coutume, en accord avec les phares de la Côte-Nord. La lumière d'un navire antique occupe la Cuppola et peut vous guider pendant que vous marchez à la maison après une nuit de festivités dans la ville. Mouettes sont vos compagnons et vous pouvez entendre leurs pieds Webby tapant sur le toit dans la matinée. Regardez le rouleau de brouillard et de sortir de votre lit pendant que vous buvez votre café du matin, et d'écouter les souches de la musique live locale que la ville célèbre les étés courts dans la nuit. La cuisine Gally est petite mais résolument moderne, avec toutes les nécessités. Le phare est au-dessus "cabine de North Shore Pêcheur la, une maison en rondins historique restauré (VRBO # 405338) et est à côté de 'La Case de l'écrivain de la (VRBO de # 452067) et« The Boathouse "Une maison de charpente de bois récemment construit qui est la résidence des propriétaires. Vous êtes toujours les bienvenus à baisser dans le Boathouse et de voir ce projet est en cours. Actuellement, le propriétaire est la construction d'un esquif de l'Alaska. Si vous voyagez avec un grand groupe, envisager d'inclure les cabanes de pêcheur et de la Writer voisins qui partagent la propriété. Il ya la capacité pour un groupe de 12 ou si vous louez toutes les cabines. Vous pouvez obtenir toute réunion ou de mariage groupe familial sur un seul site! Le phare est connu pour ça inspirant charme. Il ya eu des pièces et comédies musicales écrit ici, une poignée de propositions, et un bon nombre de lunes de miel. Venez partager l'énergie fantastique qui est le phare.

My partner and I had a great stay at the Lighthouse for a long birthday weekend celebration. We absolutely loved how cozy and light-filled the place was as well as the convenience to the center of town. Totally walkable to everything you could need. We also appreciated the covered parking and how communicative the hosts were beforehand. The guidebook in the place was also super helpful!

A wonderfully functional space, with a sweet little kitchen, a gorgeous view of the lake, and within walking distance of town. The "lighthouse" roof is beautifully lit when you are inside at night. A great option for 2 people!

Worked on checking some hikes off our list on the Gunflint trail. Absolutely beautiful! The Lighthouse location is an easy walk to town to enjoy a drink or food.

Cozy and convenient

We stayed here while doing some hiking and climbing in the area. The Lighthouse was fun to stay in and a cozy place to relax at the end of the day. Also enjoyed that it was really easy to walk to nearby restaurants.

Wonderful place to stay!

Just big enough for two people!! It was a cool little place, and we had just enough space for when we were there. It had everything that we needed, and we would definitely stay again. Can’t beat the location if you are looking for walking distance to all of the places to visit in Grand Marais. Highly recommend!!
