Completely renovated 50’s cottage that gives you character & charm coupled with modern amenities to include granite counters & stainless appliances. New shaker style cabinets, a breakfast bar and character enhancing ceiling beams. From the welcoming front porch, the living room greets you with a large chandelier anchored to the vaulted ceiling. The master has a queen size bed. The guest bedroom has custom built bunk beds; sleeps 4. The cottage is only 5 minutes to downtown historic Clayton. Outside there is a firepit and a covered area under the carport for grilling on the propane gas BBQ grill. There is ample parking in driveway and across the street in front of the house.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Sweep up pet hair/food. Excess pet hair/smell will reflect in damage dep. DON’T strip bed, Leave unmade. Wash dishes. Remove items in refrigerator. Take out trash, can is across the street
Turn off ALL lights, except the carport light. Leave heat on 69 or air on 74 {depending on season} Make sure to lock all exterior doors, windows. Check for your (chargers, boots, dirty clothes.)
Leave the key on the kitchen counter, lock the door with the lockbox key and return it to the lockbox. Please leave a review! See both of my listings! Tell your friends and family. Be safe!

Just a perfect home away from home, we loved everything about the place and the host is what i would call "The Perfect Host" . She didnt missed anything that we will needed to be comfortable on our stay, which i really appreciated. I really enjoyed staying at the Cozy Rose at would definitely rent again. Tanya was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. This is a very quiet location even though it's so close and convenient to everything!

Location was good and stores were nearby. The cabin itself was beautiful and cozy. Really enjoyed the layout of it. The whole cabin was clean however the fridge reaked of fish and that smell made its way into everything we put in it. Also, would’ve liked to see a better equipped kitchen. Overall stay was solid aside from the smell.

The Perfect Spot

The Cozy Rose just might be my favorite VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. It was just what we needed and worked perfectly for our family. Very clean and absolutely adorable - just like the photos show. The grill outside and the kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy a home cooked meal one night. And the location was perfect for heading downtown for shops and restaurants. Really appreciated Tanya’s recommendations for places to explore nearby. We will definitely rent again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Quiet Getaway

This place was lovely, extremely quiet, exactly as advertised, and very very clean and neat. Loved the front porch and wooded view across the street. I decided backing slowly into the driveway was the best option--take it slow because the driveway is a bit narrow. 4-5 steps to get onto the front porch. Lovely town and Lovely home.

The location is wonderful, close to the market, downtown, tons of food options. The home was very clean and equipped with everything needed. We enjoyed our time there. That being said, we did feel the owner was not very Friendly. Weeks before arriving, she messaged me about ensuring my children
