Quiet and close to everything

Home was very clean and the cul de sac is very quiet. This house is very close to everything that Traverse City has to offer. The backyard is very peaceful and secluded. We had a great time and will definitely stay here when we return.

Annual GF Retreat

Location is great. Close to downtown and very private neighborhood.I sent a text informing the property manager light bulbs were burned out and one bedroom had an EXTREMELY dim light, so we needed more light bulbs.I was told sorry for the inconvenience and maintenance will handle it. We never heard from anyone, so one bedroom was very dark and we had to use phone lights at night to find our way around the room. One kitchen cupboard door was off its hinges and hanging awkwardly. The kitchen lacked a complete set of flatware. I think we survived with 6 forks and 6 spoons, 5 bowls, a fews pans. The kitchen was sparsely supplied. Having the house address as the door code did not make me feel my belongings were safe when we were not home. When asked to drop our luggage and cooler off previous to check in, we were told there is a fee for that. Why? No one stayed in the house the day before our stay. There was no inconvenience for VBRO, but we were inconvenienced with no lightbulbs and continued washing of dishes and flatware for use. Overall, we felt the owners vacated the house and a few items were put in the house to make it somewhat livable.

Joan- Thank you for taking the time to leave such a thought out review. I wanted to let you know that we have gone ahead and bought all new silverware, kitchen essentials and lightbulbs for the house. We were unaware of the kitchen not being stocked fully until your review so thank you, again. As far as dropping items off prior to check-in, it is not something that we have ever been asked before and frankly, its no different really than an early check-in and we do charge nominally for that. I would love the opportunity to host your annual GF Retreat again so you can see the upgrades that we made at our house.
