Great Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Our family spent a week here and had a great time. The house is gorgeous along with the views of the East Bay. The proximity to the so many Traverse City offerings was terrific. The house was large enough for our group of 10 with room to spare.

Perfect Bachelorette Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We just stayed for a weekend here for a bachelorette party. This house was better than we could have imagined! The pictures do not do it justice. The view of the bay is breathtaking! The house is very big and we never once felt crowded with a full house of 13 women. There is a nice open concept layout and you can see the beautiful bay right when you walk in. The location is great and so convenient! Close to downtown. The house has a lot of cute décor and updates. Extremely clean and well taken care of. We will be back!

Pictures don't do it justice!

  • 5 of 5

This cottage was amazing! Open layout in the main living / dining with the most beautiful view of East Bay. Everything was extremely clean and the decor was the cutest! My group had absolutely no complaints & an extra bonus because both neighbors were extremely nice and welcoming! Definitely would recommend to anyone visiting the TC area!

I couldn't have been more pleased! Have rented many years now and have learned not to trust the pictures and descriptions that are presented online. This one exceeded my expectations. The house was clean and very comfortable. Patty is very easy and nice to work with. I didn't have to worry about the grandkids playing in the water. Everyone loved it! There were 8 adults and 3 grandchildren with plenty of room. The Wi-Fi is a plus. My son-in-law was able to do his classes and still enjoy his vacation. There are so many activities around there is no reason to get bored on a rainy day. The best day was when we rented Jet Ski's from the neighbors, Jodi and Tim, who were very nice and helpful. Didn't have a chance to meet the neighbors on the other side, they weren't there at the time. Enjoyed the bonfires at night! I don't think you can beat the view! My grown children like to move around and experience different places but this time they kept bugging me to re-book for next year. I believe as long as Patty keeps renting, this will be our wonderful vacation spot. Thank You Patty for allowing us to use your beautiful home and experience a wonderful vacation!

Awesome View

  • 5 of 5

This home sits directly on the water with an amazing view of the East Bay. The open floor plan flows beautifully onto the outdoor patio, making it feel like an extension of the house. A variety of comfortable outdoor seating is perfect for alfresco dining, cocktails, lounging or enjoying a gorgeous sunset by a roaring bonfire. Five women on their 24th annual getaway had more than enough room and amenities to make for a perfect vacation. The only caveat I would even bother mentioning is the five single beds (including bunk beds) are quite firm - but nothing that would prevent us from going back. I've used VRBO/Home Away many times and Patty's is right up there with the best. The pictures you see are exactly what you get - and what you get is awesome!

We recommend Apache Trout Grill for lunch/dinner/cocktails, 7 Monks Brew & Sports Pub (creative chef and fun atmosphere) and Little Bohemia for simple music and good food. Thanks for everything Patty and thanks to Nellie for a sparkling clean home.
