Since Sunset 98 is a corner unit, the view and the light upon entry is one of those ‘wow’ moments. With a southwestern exposure, the kitchen/dining/living area is totally open to the Folly River and marshes, including the occasional school of marlin. The next ‘wow’ moment comes at sunset when one must get his drink, hurry to the balcony and allow him/herself to be awed.
As can be seen by the photos, the unit has a large, master bedroom opening onto the balcony; a twin bedroom off the rear balcony and a double bedroom in the southeast corner for those who just want to get away for a nap or a good book. The open living area has a newly installed flat screen HDTV on a wall pivot, ie, no messing around by the kids...DVD is also included. In addition, both the master and double bedrooms have flat screen HDTVs, and for those who can’t completely get away, wireless is available throughout the unit.
Folly Beach is a six mile long barrier island, and the closest beach to historic Charleston, South Carolina (15 minutes on the Connector) where one can find outstanding cuisine, the performing arts and Civil War history.
During summer season (May 23-Aug. 30), we rent by the week and our turnover day is Saturday. Check-in: 3:00 PM; Check-out: 10:00 AM

Mariner's Cay is a gated community with tennis, pool and marina with boat launching facilities on the compound, walking, biking, especially for children, and/or bird watching can also be done within the compound, seafood restaurants and shopping are a short drive into Folly Beach as well as a popular health food restaruant, 'The Lost Dog' which can't be missed, .
