🐾 Pet-Friendly Paradise

Bring along your furry companions (1 or 2 dogs allowed with prior approval) to share in the adventure! A nominal fee of $100 per dog and agreement to crate them during your stay ensures a hassle-free experience. Dogs only need to be crated when no one is home with them, ensuring their safety and your peace of mind. (Sorry, we don't allow cats due to allergies.)

🏡 Your Home Away From Home

With a maximum occupancy of four to five persons, this cozy cabin ensures your comfort while maintaining environmental sustainability. Please be mindful that our well and septic system necessitates adherence to this limit (not connected to public services).

Fourth time

This was our fourth time staying at this property. We love the location and how well maintained the home is. It’s private but still close to plenty of activities and amenities. Looking forward to booking year number 5!

Perfect Mountain Get-Away

My husband & I visited Summer Haven for a second time a few weeks ago & once again we were not disappointed. We love everything about about the place! The location is perfect - a short drive to several parks with lots of outdoor things to see and do. It's also just a few miles from Brevard, a quaint little mountain town with lots of shopping & plenty of great restaurants. There are also several golf courses within short driving distance. While the cabin is located just off "the beaten path", it's very secluded with no road noise & is surrounded by beautiful trees that you see from every window. The wrap-around deck is the perfect place for morning coffee. I can can't say enough about inside the cabin itself: It is spotless, has nice appliances, well-stocked, comfortable, beautifully decorated, I could go on and on...... We LOVE Summer Haven & can't wait to go back!

The Perfect Place For Us

Great location for us, close to Brevard and Hendersonville. Out in the country but close enough to places to go. Was able to walk to coffee truck, Canteen, and cafe from cabin (all which were great) and main road was right there when we wanted to drive somewhere. Very peaceful location and everything you need for your stay. Look forward to staying again.

Mountain Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Summer Haven! The cabin was tucked away in beautiful Cedar Mountain. We loved that it was private, quaint, exceptionally clean, dog friendly, and stocked with everything we needed to cook dinners at home each night. The surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous with several state parks within a few minutes drive. We are already looking forward to coming back!

This was our 2nd stay at Summer Haven and we enjoyed it even more! Very nice, clean, and great location. Great place to stay, relax, or explore the surrounding area. Melinda is great and makes sure to provide everything you need. Already looking at dates for next year. Bobby

We love adventure and beautiful places. We have been passionate kayakers, mountain bikers, cyclists, fly fishermen and explorers of new places for most of our lives.

Why they chose this property

This location has a wonderful long history, a beautiful historic outdoor chapel is our closest neighbor and there are many wild places to explore within just a short drive. This is a paradise location where you can play outdoors year 'round.

What makes this property unique

This is such a quiet and peaceful spot. I love walking the dogs down the road to a little creek with a swimming hole just big enough for cooling them off. Being able to ride your bike from the home to go mountain biking or cycling for the day is amazing. Couldn't ask for nicer neighbors!
