Our space has the perfect blend of a vintage feel with a modern touch. With contemporary design & vibrant artwork it embodies the epitome of cool! Stepping inside, you’re greeted by a homey atmosphere of fun & creativity.

Home features 3 bedrooms and can sleep a total 7 people!
Main bedroom: 1 king size bed
2nd bedroom: 1 trundle bed with 1 full size mattress and 1 twin size mattress
3rd bedroom: den conversion with barn door; currently pictured with black futon and curtain,updated pictures soon! Currently, 1 adult twin size daybed with mattress and enough space for queen size air mattress(provided).

A large private serene retreat in the backyard w/abundant seating for 9 around the fire pit (propane), basketball hoop, corn hole and charcoal grill available as well.

Huge 3-car garage bonus space. Complete with outdoor sectional, dining table for 6; perfect for playing games, ping pong, electronic dart board, Smart TV with complementary DIRECTV cable and Apple TV.

perfect spot for our girls weekend!

this house was perfect for a weekend getaway girls trip. hanging out in the backyard and game room were a lovely way to start off our trip. and the indoor living spaces were comfy, cozy and clean. most destinations we visited in SD were around 15-20 mins away. we were very happy with this rental and overall experience!

Charming La Mesa stay!

If you're looking for a place to stay in La Mesa, stay here! We booked this VRBO for a work trip, and it was perfect for three colleagues. Each room was spacious with comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. The home was in a quiet and safe neighborhood. We enjoyed taking a few walks during our stay! Also, the hosts were very accommodating and were quick to respond to questions. We will definitely return when we are back in La Mesa!

From the hosts, to the property, to the amenities- 100/10!!!

WOW! I have stayed at many, many places and this hands down was the best experience I have ever had with one of these rental services. The hosts went above and beyond constantly and showed so much kindness and genuine care. It was such a lovely experience dealing with Mel and Dave and you can tell they take pride in what they do. As far as the house and property goes- it was amazing!! The master bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. The kitchen was fully equipped and there were plenty of the daily necessities. With the pre-approval of the host discussed upon booking- we had a small backyard gathering and it was amazing!!!! I didn’t need to rent anything as there was enough seating for over 17 people with plenty more spots!!! There was ping pong, corn hole, a garage TV / “man cave”, along with tiki torches, outdoor lighting, and a fire pit. It was seriously perfect. We cannot say enough good things about this listing!! Thanks so much guys!

We stayed here to move my son into SDSU. The location was very convenient and we were impressed with the cleanliness of the property. We would stay here again when we come to visit.

Perfect place for an overnight stay

We stayed here during my daughter’s college graduation. It was exactly what we wanted. The house is clean and comfortable, and is even nicer in person than pictured. We were conveniently close to the university, and the neighborhood is quiet and feels safe. Melissa and David were very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Home!

Home was very nice and put together. It looked even better in person than it did in the pictures. We had a great time. The neighbors gave us a bit of trouble but it was not anything we could not handle in a respectful manner.

David is a San Diego native who grew up in the community, attending local Helix High School and Cal State San Bernardino. He is a Real Estate Broker and Property Investor. Melissa is an Interior Designer and Artist who moved to San Diego in 2006. She attended both Mesa College and San Diego State University for Art and Interior Architecture.

We love how peaceful it is! You often hear birds chirping and see butterflies go by. This community has a lot of families and retired people as well. Its very quiet in the evening and safe.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Something unique about our property is the decor and the amenities. We try to provide some simple things from toilet paper, dish soap, paper towel roll, trash bags etc. so that travelers should be able to come in and relax for at least one night without having to rush to the store for basic needs. Aside from food ;)

We try to make the house feel like a home; super inviting for hanging out and enjoying your time!
