Located in the beautiful Moonridge area, between both ski resorts, this cozy homey cabin is perfect for your next mountain escape. Nearby the Alpine Zoo, grocery stores, and hiking trails. Just a short drive to the lake, Village, Snow Play, Convention Center and more! Beautiful wood details throughout the home accent that special Big Bear feeling. Spend a thrilling day on the slopes and then come relax in the soothing hot tub.

LIVING SPACE - Cozy 900+ sq ft home with living room, TV, ceiling fans, dining table, a beautiful wood burning fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.

ROOMS & BEDS - 2 bedrooms, 2 baths. Master bedroom has a king bed, TV, and bathroom. Second bedroom has a queen bed. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Full kitchen with stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, rice cooker, dishes, pots/pans, and more.

AMENITIES - Smart TVs, streaming apps along with fast Wi-Fi. Board games and card games. Relax near the cozy wood burning fireplace. Laundry area with side-by-side washer/dryer.

OUTDOORS - Hot tub, outdoor furniture, and charcoal barbecue. Enjoy the spacious backyard, fully fenced and surrounded by beautiful, tall trees.

Great Cabin in a Perfect Location

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It was clean, super cute and cozy. The check in process was a little frustrating as they wanted to charge us for arriving just an hour early, even though the cabin was ready for us. That was unfortunate. The power went out in the neighborhood while we were there and there were no matches/lighters, candles, or lanterns in the cabin so we were in the dark for a while. Would’ve been nice for them to have that stuff for emergencies. Other than that the stay was great!

New Year in The Snow

The house was the perfect mountain getaway for a family of 4 and 2 dogs. The backyard was enclosed which was convenient for our dogs, and of course, they loved to play in the snow.

Almost perfect

Very suitable for four people. Very clean and well equipped. My only disappointment was that there is no shade for the back porch, which is exposed to direct sunlight most of the day. There is a patio table with a hole in the center, but no umbrella.

cool cabis stay

I have been renting from cool cabins for about 3-4 years mainly the same cabin, because I love it so much. I love the service, cabins are super clean, whenever we have needed help with hut tub ....they are very responsive and have come and resolved issues in about 1-2 hours , customer service is awesome!! however in the last 2 years I have not been able to get an early check in. I travel with dogs and I used to be able to get in early for an affordable fee .their policy now is 4 pm check in and when traveling from out of town with family and dogs its difficult. this is an added stress to my first day of my holiday trip, so may be a deal breaker in the future. specially with more options being open due to economy. maybe they could develop a frequent renter program with perks with free early checking with minimum stay? this would absolutely seal my deal with this company

Overpriced but nice enough

Had a nice time. House was clean and tidy but a bit small for what you’re paying. That might be my European expectation though…. Checkin / checkout easy enough.

Charming and pet friendly!

This was a charming little cabin in a very quiet neighborhood of rentals and residentials. The curb appeal was nice and clean. Upon entering, we see the living area and kitchen. The living are was nice, with a large screen HD TV and lots of cute décor. There is a ample, comfortable seating, and a good sized dining table adjacent. The galley style kitchen was adequate. However, more kitchen towels would have been nice, especially as there is no dishwasher (not really room for one, so no complaint there) - only two were provided. Also, napkins would have been a nice touch as there were only paper towels, and just a half roll at that. No others were found in cupboards anywhere. In the kitchen is a Nest thermostat for the living area. It heated very quickly. There is a guest room with a king bed. We only used that room for luggage storage so no much to say. A guest bath was across the hall and looked a bit dated, but again, we really didn't use that. The master bedroom was nice. There was plenty of storage space if needed. The heater worked well. There is a king bed that was comfortable enough - I think it was a memory foam mattress. The adjoining master bath was fine. The vanity is a bit tiny, but the shower was modern and very nice, with plenty of hot water. The backyard was completely fenced in, making it perfect for our large breed dog. There is a spa available. All in all, we really enjoyed this space and would recommend it highly.

One night getaway

what a great place to stay! Just needed a ons night stay for friends who we’re in town for the Spartan race. Absolutely loved everything about this property. Phenomenal location to the resorts, easy access to downtown and just your own little quiet getaway. Definitely will be will be looking to come back here again. Thank you!

Great Cabin close to the slopes

We found the cabin to be clean and comfortable. We stayed with our 5 year old and 1 year old and there were age appropriate games and toys to keep them occupied. The cabin was warm and cozy and had everything we needed. We plan to stay here again for future trips.

We were very pleased with how clean the property was. The sleeping arrangements were ideal for the 5 of us. Three adults and two adult children. Two full baths were a big help as well. The living room dining room were large and had a nice open concept so we could all mingle in the same area. Super super close to Big Bear which was a nice quiet area. Thank you for sharing your home.

It was clean and basic. Not far from the slopes. The management communication was poor. The person answering the phone when we had an issue was nice but said I would receive a call back from the manager. I never did and late the next day I went to the office and the manager was very negative and adversarial.

Bummed in Big Bear

Location was perfect for skiing and enjoying the outdoors. The home itself was cozy and comfortable. Bathrooms were the only area of house that was updated. Disappointed with the linens on the bed-blankets were dirty and wrong size sheets for the beds. Luckily we brought extra blankets to use. Lastly, the property is pet friendly. Nice fenced area for our dog. Overall, I thought it was overpriced. We told the manager about our concerns when we checked out and they didn't seem to care. Still haven't heard from the property manager.

Great and fun environment

Was great!!! Beautiful environment, nice and quiet. The whole house was stocked with all the accessories we needed and everything was very close by and not a far drive. Definitely will be staying here again with my family

Great place, good price and friendly service!

I'm so glad we found Big Bear Cool Cabins! The property was great. I loved the size of the bedrooms and especially loved the slider that led to the backyard. We specifically chose them because they are pet friendly and were taking our husky up for her first trip to the snow. The yard was enclosed, which was perfect, and the slider led right out from the master bedroom so we could let her out when needed. It was so nice having a full kitchen and all of the amenities available for such a great price. We will definitely be going back.
