We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very well set up for all ages. We enjoyed the location, the woodsy area, the outdoor fires and the comfort and thoughtful touches.
This is a very nice lake cottage. We had some issues upon arrival (the rental company sent us the wrong door code and we could not get in), but I texted Marie and she responded immediately and provided the correct code. I would stay here again!
Riley's Lodge in Freedom, NH is a fantastic experience. You get a full-size house with two floors and a loft for a very reasonable price. The house is very charming, a blend of rustic design and modern conveniences, with little New Hampshire-themed decorations everywhere. It comes equipped with everything you could need for an extended stay, and drawers are stocked with all the kitchen essentials and dishware, to the point that it's impressive how much thought was put into the customer experience. Things like leaving brochures for all the restaurants in the area or a guide to nearby attractions indicate a host who's willing to go above and beyond. We've stayed twice at the Lodge now, and have been thoroughly impressed both times. When contacting the host, she typically responds within minutes, happy to find ways to make your experience the best it can be.The area is beautiful and plenty of accommodations are provided in each of the bedrooms, from fans to cell-phone chargers. There's a good amount of space to store any items you've brought, two wide-screen TVs are available with HDMI and premium streaming services for the tech-inclined, and there's plenty of seating and a backyard with a fire ring and wood for making fires. Information is included on local fire regulations and how to get set up upon your arrival. All in all, this is the best experience I've had with a rental house, and we hope to stay again next year!

Thank you for your kind words! Everyone should truly feel at home when being away from home! We are so thrilled you enjoyed another stay at Riley’s Lodge and would be happy to host you again next year!
Beautiful place for the winter. The house is larger than expected, the firplace was a welcomed bonus as well as the game room downstairs. The guy looking through the binoculars was a pleasant surprise. Most definitely will come vack for the summer. A lot of great food nearby... thank you marie and mark

So glad to hear your stay was enjoyable! We welcome you back and look forward to hosting you again!
This home made for the perfect weekend retreat for myself and five friends. If we brought our children they would have loved the large finished basement. The collection of games in the basement even included two of my favorites, Tripoli and Rumikub. Everything about the house was enviable and we found ourselves saying things like “I want this house” or “I want to be friends with Marie.” Seriously, they have everything and it’s so organized. The lights, the hooks in every room, the seating areas, the fire pit, grill with gas hook up, the outdoor shower, AC!, towels, high quality pans, phone chargers, fans, comfortable beds and even “the binder”. After a day boating on the lake, we sat around the fire, appreciating the campfire wood that is provided, the string lights and lack of mosquitoes! Marie was so flexible with check in, check out and the many messages I sent her before, during and after our stay.
